Parramatta cheats the cap under Arthur and cant even field a team that makes the finals. Arthur's salary cap management, recruiting foresight and ability to sign players that will complement the others in the team, is abysmal. If the salary cap scandal saved him, it should also have pointed to something rather more concerning about him. How can it be that we have so many players all off contract at the same time? That's very poor management too.

Absolutely agree Ivor. Its why I tipped us to be spooners again. While I enjoyed our wins Im sad to say that early losses didnt concern me as I figured each loss would ensure we made changes to our coaching team. Once that hope was squashed I figured "whats done is done" now lets get on with it. Sadly my resolve isnt what it was in my younger years. Maybe when we get beat up by Souths Canterbury Cup Team next week the penny might drop.

I think the TPA thing is very relevant in terms of how we go relative to the Top 3 teams, but you're right in terms of our record relative to other teams.

Either do I, it is a crock of shit.

Our line up is more then capable of competing, what they dished up last night was as bad as I have seen in 20 years, f**king diabolical.

The middle and ruck defence is embarrassing we concede a minimum of 70+ metres every set cause all teams do is run from dummy half.

The other thing is that whilst our roster is decent we can't afford to be missing both Browns for as long as we have been, we need our best players every week. And they are 2 of our best, Drown showed in 3 games his going to be an absolute star.

We are competing. How many wins should this roster be racking up? How many rosters would you say are worse than ours?

If we lost to all the better rosters and beat all the worse ones, and won half of our games against all the rosters on our level, how many wins would we have? And would that number of wins be acceptable?

I don't know. I failed 5th grade maths. But I suspect we've lost more than 50% against those teams since the start of 2018. Depends where you start counting.

But if you keep taking a simple average of a coach's record from day zero, a bloke who wins 26 games in year 1, and then adopts an affirmative action policy to defense will keep his job for quite a while. Moses would be good as a five-eight playing alongside an organising half like Mitchell Pearce or Adam Reynolds, Chad Townsend, Cooper Cronk, or a more experienced Dylan Brown or Tom Dearden. But as the sole operator, he's way too erratic and destabilising. Big decision coming up for Parra.

I'd go with the club's decision to pass on him if we could sign Jackson Hastings. He has has plenty of time to make the position his at two clubs. I don't think he is getting better. Happy to be proved wrong though.
