If the eels played the lower half of the table twice and another top team played the best teams twice, how is there F and A comparable/accurate? And I’m not saying we had an easy draw. Just saying it isn’t very comparable

Because the comparison I'm making is between our defence and attack, not how that compares with other teams. The result was that our attack was more highly ranked than our defence, so defence is where the most improvement can be potentially had..

Not sure what people are worried about. Our attack just awesome. Our defence is just awesome, we are so tough in the grind and are so hard to beat. Our coaching staff is just the best in the league. We are the envy of all other clubs. Our HOF was chased by the rest of the NRL and Coles yet we somehow snared him!!!


We have the best crop of juniors the world has ever seen. How dare anyone question the teams credentials or have any doubts. Since when has the club, coaching staff or playing group done anything to make you doubt them??? Shame on you all!!!!

I can see what people are worried about. Our attack is plop. Our defence is double plop. We couldn't even get into the grind if we were handed a sack full of pepper grinders. Our coaching staff are mincers. We are a laughing stock. Our HOF pushed trolleys for Coles FFS.


Our crop of juniors are fat uncoordinated dorks. I can see why everyone questions the team's credentials and has doubts. This club, the coaching staff and our playing group have been routinely fist f**king our fans for years. F**k them all!!!!

Of course everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but it’s the manner in which they retaliate always looking for an argument or looking to belittle people. A certain few here need to be reassured consistently that everything is rosey at the eels. Heaven forbid if anyone speaks out of line and makes as innocent comment about our attack needing some variation/tweaking. I haven’t posted a great deal since the gf and I make a comment yesterday and all the huggers come out in force.

I thought you made a fair point. We can improve our attack by creating more variety and being less reliant on kicking.

Those that were disagreeing weren't too unreasonable. Just hanging shit like Hiney would. It's all fair game. I think the forum is pretty respectful for the most part. I see the smartarse responses as the forum equivalent of a bit of shit talk with some mates.
