I get quite sad watching my parents get old tbh.![]()
It's pretty tough, mate.
I'm in the process of becoming co-power of attorney, and co-enduring guardian.
It really sucks.

That sounds equal parts impressive and shit. Kind of like being a co-captain.I'm in the process of becoming co-power of attorney, and co-enduring guardian.
If it's any consolation, I'd rather go out by euthanasia than be a burden to my family as well as being an unnecessary cost to the health system. It's pretty tough, mate.

I also have parents. One of them died a while ago and another is still alive, but rapidly aging.Poor taste..... Pull your head in
You can always hope but you’ll probably just die on the shitter. When I am old and close to my end Id like to be strapped to an ice berg and given a dose of magic mushrooms and as I drift into see the iceber melts and I die.

So you agree he's a first grader. What then is the problem? If Brenko Lee can win a premiership (and play Origin) anyone can. They just need to be in a good enough team. Never forget it's a team game, and that's why it's not rational to look for a scapegoat.I don't recall, Hindy or me calling him a reserve grader mate.
But whatever, if you think hyperbole can win you the argument, go ahead, take your best shot merkin.
Our only defensive plodder is Paulo. We'll be okay.I also feel the NRL changing rules once a side has build its squad is bullshit. We had a fast mobile pack which was being monstered and slowly replaced it with big strong powerfull guys. Then this off season they change rules. It will suit the more mobile packs imo. Funny how the Rooster built their pack in a way that suits this style more.
Rules changes like this should take 2yrs to come into effect so a coach can adjust his squad.
I reckon a few sides already had inside info on this.
Hang in there mate. It sounds like a challenge but I’m sure you are doing a great job. It's pretty depressing, and it's hard work.
I've just started a new job, which I love, and I have a 6-month old son (not to mention a wife).
I need to look after my mum, but I also have obligations to my family.
I feel like I'm being pulled in so many different directions...it's really distressing.
Yeah of course. It takes into account the age a player first became a first grader, and penalises the late bloomers, as it should. If you become a genuine first grader in your mid 20s it means you were shit for nearly half your career. It needs to be acknowledged.so you include years they did not play in calculating the average?
Except if it’s BA. That sack of shit should have the team firing by now.So you agree he's a first grader. What then is the problem? If Brenko Lee can win a premiership (and play Origin) anyone can. He's got five grand worth of Dogecoin.Well don't leave us hanging. What is it?
Fair enough. If anyone suggests that they are kidding themselves. I reckon each generation since yours has become progressively softer. As a general rule. There are always exceptions. All the boomers I know/knew just got on with their working life, had fun in their teens and tried to earn a crust as they got older. There was nothing radical about it all. It sometimes appears on here that we were gifted everything on a plate.

decent CV as a loserKidwell has a decent CV as a coach
Coaching career
Kidwell was appointed the Rabbitohs Toyota Cup (Under 20s competition) coach for 2010.[12] They finished minor premiers that year and made the Grand Final, but were defeated 42-28 by the Under 20s New Zealand Warriors. He later worked as an assistant coach at the Melbourne Storm under Craig Bellamy. On 16 September 2013 it was announced that he would be joining the Wests Tigers in 2014 as an assistant coach.
Kidwell joined the New Zealand national rugby league team as an assistant coach in 2014. After Stephen Kearney left the role of being the head coach of the New Zealand national team in 2016, Kidwell was later appointed as the new Kiwis head coach, Kidwell oversaw a brief but embarrassing era for New Zealand Rugby League in which they lost two World Cup matches to tier-2 nations, and fluked a draw against another in the 2016 Four Nations tournament. A series of critical failures in team culture and management led to disappointing results and a mass exodus of players. One notable player to leave the team was Jason Taumololo. Taumololo defected to Tonga, who defeated New Zealand in a World Cup pool match. Kidwell was replaced by Michael Maguire after failing to make the semi-finals of the 2017 World Cup.[13]
In 2018, Kidwell was appointed as assistant coach at one of his former clubs The Parramatta Eels.

Yep, a disappointing career overall. But he still had 7.2 wins per year (since age 18) by the end of his final season, and that accounts for zero wins in 2015 when he was overseas. If you took away that year he is at 7.8, ahead of Tedesco and Waqa Blake.Probably the player who gets FUTA the worst by this stat is your friend Jarryd Hayne.
