Agree @Poupou Escobar , it's legal and if Dyls was seeing the coach's 16 year old daughter there's nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Just some people seem to be looking for a solution to stop it as a possibility - and for that they'd need something bigger than a plus 4 years.

I remember when I was in year 8 a guy in year 12 was dead keen on a girl in our grade, wanted her to be his formal date etc... It seemed a bit icky to us (18yo boy creeping on a 14yo girl), but fast forward say 5 years - and of course above the ages of consent - and no-one would really blink and eye at 23yo being with a 19yo etc.

Exactly. You have to draw the line somewhere. It’s worth noting also that a 50 year old can legally have sex with a 16 year old, according to current legislation. Except in SA and Tasmania where the age of consent is 17.

I predict a massive reluctance on parents to have their kids play such a heavy contact sport into the future - which favours soccer and even AFL participation.

Concussion is a major issue for the AFL too.

He’s massively overrated, his defence is pretty average as well. If he wants 900k Dyl should be asking for 1.4m.

I think it's more a reflection on stupid prices shit clubs are willing to pay a half decent players. Lukes Brooks is on 1.3m backended in 2023. AD must be thinking that he deserves twice that.

He'd be wise to to a top club for a reasonable payday vs the Tits (for example) where he might overlooked. Brian Kelly at the Tits is a perfect example. I reckon he would have gone close to playing NSW origin if he played for a top Sydney team. Ahead of Burton, Wighton or Crighton IMHO.
