There needs to be some decent player managers out there who aren't in it simply for their 7% but to offer mentorship and guidance to these young men (and potentially women) who earn a motza for their athletic ability but don't necessarily have the nous and common sense to keep out of trouble.

It’s easy to blame player managers but to be fair to them to a degree, it’s not like it’s just NRL player managers who are like that. I’ve seen Jerry Maguire

At the same age that Brown is now, 23, Carney had played 1 game of city vs country. By comparison at the same age Brown has done a lot more than carney
