Matt Arthur does have massive potential. Look how good he was in reserve grade this year, despite still being eligible for SG Ball.

If you think he just wanted to create pathways for his children, why did he extend both Moses and Drown? Why didn’t he give Matt Arthur his NRL debut?

see above - we chose a disposable short term option (and crock) because we wanted the hooker position available for Arthur junior...all of the rugby league world knows that.

I accept you would never change your mind regardless of the quality of an opposing position, but I honestly didn't think you were one to lie about your past opinions...or is it just that you have circled around so many positions on certain topics that you claim validation on any of them?

It’s only this year that we were uncompetitive, with a bunch of merkins having their career worst season. That’s why Arthur was sacked this year, and not in previous years.

The club knows what it’s doing. That’s why I’m excited about Ryles. It’s why I supported Arthur.

Gutherson is on the hunt for a new club.​

It was reported earlier this week that the major sticking point in the deal being done was over the length.

Reports suggested Gutherson wanted three years to move to the Dragons immediately, but the club were only willing to offer a two-year deal.

It is the same sticking point which stopped the Dragons from signing Reagan Campbell-Gillard in September. The prop eventually signed a three-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans, turning his back on the offer available from the Red V, who have been desperate to bring in more experience ahead of 2025.

A.Watmough was one of the top 5 signings in the clubs history. Those 12 games he played for us before he retired from injury where nothing short of sensational.
