The actual GOAT has a similar anomalyTbf his origin record is 8-9 (47%) and he’s never won a decider where he’s 0-3. It’s a really weird anomaly for a future all time great.

Dylan Edwards and James Tedesco enter the chat.....I disagree. It just happens to be the best sample we might have. It doesn't mean it's statistically significant. That's why players are picked based on club form, not Origin form.
Galvin is the 5th best debutant for the Tigers* (in my lifetime). What about Galvin?

I’m not shitcanning but would like your thoughts as to why.
I can feel it in my bones. Somethings building.
Storm and Panthers have 2026 but afterwards both will decline. Dogs will face cap pressure and Brisbane wont have Hunt or Reynolds.
Sometimes winning a comp is about timing rather then being the best. Our 2027 will be explosive barring injuries

I hope your hearing is good.Hearing matterson house hunting in Burleigh heads to rent , not sure why when he's an eel next season
I think he's overachieved, especially for a rookie taking on the Eels first up in his coaching career. If he takes the team to the next level in 2026 then he's a genius in the making.I feel the same.
I like how much Ryles has changed our club in just 12 months.
I don’t expect a large sample size from an Origin player. I’m just saying the sample size we have is meaningless for drawing conclusions. If you’re going to judge players on stats, judge them on their NRL stats, not their Origin stats. No it’s very much related. You can’t expect a large player sample size for a series that has 3 games per year with a large turnover of players with short careers.
I know all the shit the rugby league media feed you. I used to lap it up too. But it doesn’t reflect reality, it just tells stories.H
You really know nothing about rugby league. Fair enough, it’s not for everyone.
Pou....off topic.....are you a flat earther?I know all the shit the rugby league media feed you. I used to lap it up too. But it doesn’t reflect reality, it just tells stories.
The Broncos imploded in that game. That's where 'the biggest stage' comes into it. They made 11 errors and only completed at 71%. By the end of the game they were out on their feet and whoever made the most runs was going to be the hero. That was Cleary, with 22 runs for 2 line breaks. He has a great running game, with his speed and strength. Plus he is an awesome kicker. Very accurate. He doesn't need to be brilliant, he just needs to execute well. That GF v Broncos is all that needs to be said if you are talking about clutch. Rarely seen a more clear example of a single player putting his whole team on his shoulders as that and it was on the biggest stage there is.
Definitely. Moses needs a team that controls the ball and defends well. Anyone will always look their best in such a team.I'd suggest Moses will also look more polished the more Ryles develops our Eels D and A. A second pre season will do wonders for team connections then watch Moses go!
Amazing that the Broncos manage to find quick, decent wingers year on year, that’s a weakness we have to overcome. Not any depth at all beneath NRL, hope that area has some sort of action in the off season.I’m sure I’m wrong but Mariner I thought didn’t have a contract?
Surely not.
Both great players at club level. What point are you trying to make?Dylan Edwards and James Tedesco enter the chat.....
NRL premierships are about completing sets and having the best runners and tacklers. We are a long way from doing either. Brisbane were just fine without Reynolds and Hunt. They completed 85% tonight. If they completed better than 71% in the 2023 decider, they would’ve won that too.I can feel it in my bones. Somethings building.
