He’s been the best winger in NSW cup by a mile for 2 years now. Is averaging over 200ms in both NRL and NSW cup, believe he’s had a few 300m games in NSW cup. A lot of dogs fans are saying they should have got rid of JAC and kept him

They would be right.

JAC is a wondrous player but probably a little bit past his prime + if we are being fair, should still get good scoring opportunities at the dogs with their silky backline.

Whereas our squad next year will barely recognise each other on first day of preseason.

It may also suggest the bulldogs are running on fumes salary cap wise. Reportedly $230k per season for young mate, sheesh, that they couldn’t find it is unusual. That’s beer money to us if Richo war chest interview is even near accurate. We spend that on entrees these days.

That other clubs didn’t swoop him up, gives me some confidence that we may be able to snap up some decent forwards we were after.

If you’re a mercenary, we are on the agenda.

Although those ardent students of the cap would appreciate the complexity of it much better than me. It’s a bastard to work out with its exemptions etc. And of course, the fact that some clubs won’t even talk to some managers.

Then we have some egos at other clubs working for us.

Clubs with high expectations like the Broncos seem fair game to me. Bennet always chops off some players heads when he arrives too. He’s very particular.

“Bring out your dead and dying and we’ll take a look at them” would be my policy. No promises.

If we end up with RCGs and dumbbells, we’ll just have to risk heavy forwards rotations and teach Pole and Sammy to flick pass.

Luai is looking like a good get, he has improved out of sight this year, even his attitude seems to have been adjusted. Just hope we get a couple of boys upfront pushing us forward. I’m starting to think Luai might go close to making this team. He has a massive boot on him, and his ball playing is really good. We might come 9th next season

I reckon he, Galvin and S. Fainu will be awesome next year. If Bula gets fit before preseason training then that's a bonus too
