I had a look at their site, the eels had their fan day under cover and you got one shot at your favourite.

We had a lot more fans, 35c in the baking concord sun but you could follow or catch up with your faves for awhile, just think of others. Klem was doing the hard yards with kids, families and disabled.

I’ve been to a few of these things over the years and this was the happiest and most positive by far.

I got there late and didn’t see any officials -@macnaz would like that.

No Richo in the canteen forgetting to give the correct change like pre season.

I had to stop a fearless rogue kid trying to climb over the top of the tunnel entrance. I meant business -so off he went. I was waiting for his dad to thump me, but he never appeared

Security was very covert and out of the way. As it should be.
There was an article yesterday, that Jerome stayed out for over an hour with fans, taking photos and talking with them.
That's pretty special for anyone to do that.
I remember a few years back, I took my grandson to a trial game in Wollongong, after he game, the kids were looking for autographs, all the players left early except Seyfarth, who stayed out for quite a while. I've always respected him for that effort.

In a way I feel sorry for Sully. Benji told him he would be directing traffic so he would sign with us.
Now that Hunt has gone, Sully could have been Saints half....maybe.
He was given his shot, he just wasn't what we needed.
I shudder to think where we'd be if he was our only 7 option.
I hope if he goes, he does well wherever he plays, as long as it's not against us. hahaha

Bateman and Sullivan are the top two guys that we need to get rid of. They were both Sheens/Benji special signings. Maybe up there with the Reynolds and Mbye signings.

Yes, that report is true.

But it wasn’t a case of other players leaving early, it was simply that they had finished meeting everyone and obviously we were really keen to welcome Jerome, get the selfie and kiddie photos and Jerome made sure everyone got their Jerome fix.

It was a above and beyond gesture nonetheless.

And I was watching him for a little while, there was no signs of pretending or hubris, he was right into it.

In fact I didn’t see any of our players carrying on like pussy Matterson. Some like Galvin were even a bit shy.

But as I said elsewhere, Api got clapped and cheered for simply carrying out a hot dog to a player at one point. Everyone had a laugh, but that’s our captain!

Ha ha, I was thinking the exact thing.
Tiger I'm feeling lazy, can you make a post for me about Seyfarth... we both seem to like the fella :)

Ha ha. He did score a good try playing for Saints v Tigers.
As long as his bank account is healthy he wouldn't be too upset.
I really thought him being an Indigenous Aussie he would have been a good fit at Redfern and under the guidance of Wayne.

That try, gave him a big payday with us, didn’t it.

It certainly did. Not his fault that we jumped the gun. Looking back at a time when we had no halves and there wasn't much around.
Apparently Wests Tigers had tried to lure Luai before but now that we have him and Galvin, we have a plethora of halves.

What happened to your dog?

He wouldn’t get up-then in a drowsy stupor he tapped out with his paw that he’s waiting for actual results until he could be bothered going to members events. Then he went back to sleep.

I know a few people like him.

Plus he’s in the dog house for doing unspeakable things to the elf on the shelf:

I didn’t raise him to be a bulldog supporter either.

Nah it’s bud… Bennets a master of keeping the new recruits who have limitations in a strict lane that only requires them to do what they are good at…and to have a structure in place to avoid their weaknesses.. I suppose in Marshall’s case it was tackling or whatever it was? Bud will be the same.. instructions ..”No making Judgement calls. All you can do is this” imo
