Stridsey...normally I think you are probably the most consistently tempered poster on these forums but are you trying to say that Waterhouse didn't have any impact on what happened to Pricey when he hit the deck??

Price was out cold before Waterhouse even got to him. Fair enough to bin him for being the third man in but if that was a send off then Thurston should have been sent off for kicking Williams in the face.....

Marshal, there's 2 games in a row where a QLD player has gotten away with kicking. Isn't the reason they brought that in goal rule in to protect the attackers from injury? Williams has a suspected fractured cheekbone. Thurston is a dog, and someone should have smacked him in the chops for it.

yeah but the precedents been set your stupid enough to kick your gonna get charged by the judiciary, he lashed out at the ball got him in the face....intentional to hurt i dont think so, williams to his credit kept on playing and didnt whinge about it.

The thing is if you turn the tables and blues player got sent then everyone would be different. I mean if you send thurston off the next person who kicks at a ball if it gets near their face or not then should be sent off

Look, I don't like Waterhouse, but I think he was coming in to crash tackle Price out of the fight. White knocked him out half a second before Waterhouse's impact. Is the problem more what happened once he hit the ground?

Which is what Waterhouse contributed to.

I think the bigger dog act was Barrett laughing and clapping when it was more than apparent that a player could have been seriously injured.

The Cameron Smith bomb was probably the highlight of the series for mine. Watching the Qld'ers queuing up for the next tackle after Kidley was smashed was a close second.

He played a typical out of his skin origin game. He was quite good in game 2 also.

That kick by cam smith at the end of the game was school boy stuff. We can't win so let's kick it to them, let them run at us and try smash them, soft. Show's you how soft queenslanders are. If hodges was a man, he would have taken the hit up, he is all talk.

Queenslanders can give but they cant take. If you get tough and match the Qld team its obvious they can be outplayed and beaten just like last night.

I hope we pick the same team next year. That was a well balanced team and perfectly built for origin, just hope they dont wait till game 3 to show up. Well done watmough you should play origin for as long as you want.

I initially thought he must have made price's head hit the ground or whip lash or some such thing ..... BUT if you watch the replay, White gets him flush with a punch just before waterhouse tackles him - you can see the eyes roll before he even hits the ground .... I haven't seen enough replays to know if anything further happened after they got to the ground

altho one thing I thought interesting - immediately after waterhouse gets off him, there are 4 players who look concerned about price and only ONE of them is in a maroon jersey - it looks like the other maroons are too busy trying to carry on with the fight
