My take is that Pricey's lights were out and he was on the way down when Waterhouse king hit (call it anything you want but when you don't see it coming it can't be anything but a king hit) him and the combination of that force hitting the ground did the damage.

As strider asked me..... what damage?

He was out cold before Waterhouse got to him.

Ask Tony Caine what he thinks of Price's "chargedowns".....

Or Brett Kimmorley right?

This is Price's 16th season of first grade and TWO players have been injured in all of that time during his chargedowns.

On both occasions the players were moving forward and fell over Price.

Half the Parramatta side has been suspended more than twice for high tackles or foul play - or have been guilty of tackles that have caused injury - yet you don't seem to mention them.

ooooo that is NOT good for Trent Waterhouse.

And he has to go back to Penrith and deal with Pricey's partner in Petero.

Good luck with that.
he did grab him round the head - BUT I 110% believe that last punch from White knocked him out before Waterhouse even grabbed him .... then waterhouse had no idea he was out and thought he was stopping his teammate from being punched so kept hold

It actually looked like Price dropped his hands and stopped fighting about 2 seconds before White threw that last punch.

I don't think Waterhouse did anything too bad - hard to tell how hard Price's head hit the ground too which couldn't have helped.

Tomato/tomato..... plenty have spoken out about his style and it is lucky he hasn't injured more. Plenty of times he has come close.

Because I didn't mention them means I condone what they did right?

I would call it 'selective' criticism Colonel.

My two cents' worth:

1. Waterhouse was not trying to escalate the situation in any way
2. He must have done more damage. Whatever state Price was in, the contact around his head then the extra weight on top of him as he hit the ground must have made the concussion worse.
3. Neither of them can fight.
4. White is still a cat. His first punch was when Price wasn't looking. He then backed away. he then got towelled up. He didn't land one or even throw one until Kimmorley rushed in and impeded Price.

Price's knee to the head came when White wasn't looking either..... evens it up a bit doesn't it? ;-)

As for Kimmorley impeding either of them? Wasn't for very long if at all.
