even if true it isnt exactly something you air publiclywow now he's really getting desperate
I bet those in charge of trying to bring quality players to the Knights are over the moon with his comments.

Yeah for sure, if he makes it through this year then he needs to be under the gun from the get go next year and I would expect to see a big change to the way the team plays as well as the actual results. We need to be more creative and less structured with the ball and grittier without it. Having 40 put on us at home every second week isn’t acceptable. My hope is that AOB really looks hard at his coaching style and philosophy in the back half of this season so that if he’s still at the helm in 2023 then he’s able to get a different response from the team than what he’s getting now.Yes I get that and part of me agrees. It definitely is getting very close (if not there already) to stop the excuses for AOB though. IF he makes it to 2023, then he has to be on the hot seat from the get go. No more 5-game losing streaks or wildly fluctuating performances.
We might be like the Tigers, just 12 months behind. Them holding onto Madge this year did absolutely nothing to help them along.
difference is you could see Gus had a plan even if you didn't agree with it, we have no plan, no clean out, no reset. AOB does not have the intestinal fortitude to make tough callsClub won’t be too happy if the media really probe into his comments till the ship is turned around.
Decades of ‘ingrained stuff’ they need to get on top of, and that is not quick fix, could take a decade to address at the rate the Knights adapt to anything rugby league related.
Bennett said 5 years to fix the joint.
Is this the 6th year since that comment?
Going off the Gus and Penrith example (10 yrs) we only have to wait 4 yrs for O’Brien to fix it.

mats were killing it years ago too, the issue is those players have long failed to kick on. In any case it does not at all address the 'ingrained' issues AOB admitted to. Most would agree those ingrained issues have been as a result of players having a sense of entitlement, nothing says entitlement more than charity contracts because we felt sorry for you that no one else wanted you.Not exactly true
Have a look at our juniors compared to 5-6 years ago. Flegg and Matts are killing it
Not saying the job is done yet but it all starts with fixing the junior systems and i think there's fair evidence that at least thats been addressed
It's an outstanding comment. Would love to know what he means specifically.
Langy is always well considered with his tweets. They are non biased. Just loves the game and keeps it real. It's an outstanding comment. Would love to know what he means specifically.
There are cycles in sport (heck, everything in life). Nothing I can imagine would be lingering around for 20 years and holding us back.
Almost like we need a pathways coach from a successful system who knows how to get talented juniors through to competent first graders.mats were killing it years ago too, the issue is those players have long failed to kick on. Musn't be able to fit time in for goal kicking practises with all our 6-day turnarounds.Goal kickers are a rare breed in Knights, Clifford needs to be our backup not main kicker.
Reserve grade scored 3 tries yesterday, NIL converted, don’t know how hard they were wasn’t at game but looking at team, no recognised goalkicker.
