I think we are in for a few more rocky road years with Mary as he continues to grow and develop on his 10 year coaching apprenticeship.

All they players love Mary, because they are “mates”, a “mate” won’t drop a “mate” when they play poorly week after week after week.
We all have those “mates” that a complete waste of space, who continually do stupid crap every time, but we stick with them over the years cause we’ve always been “mates”.

Bennett love his players, treats them like sons in same cases, yes I’m looking at you Darius, but they are not “mates”, when the hard call comes for the good of the team and in a lot of cases the good of the player, they are dropped.

I’ve thought a lot before posting this however Einstein was quoted as saying “ insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results”. I now feel we have reached that point with McGregor regarding firstly the use of only 3 players off the bench and by persisting week in week out on playing obviously unfit players. This is looking like last year only two weeks later into the season. The next 4 weeks will confirm if he is insane or not I feel.

McGregor doesnt manage the senior players well.
In fact, I think the playing decision is always left to the player, like you ok to play.....yeah im good....ok. thats about it rather than saying no you havent trained all week so no your out this week.
I also wonder if the decision to play would be reversed if they were after SOO!

They took all responsibilities away from Mary, just so he could concentrate on making the eight.
