I had my first climax in a quite a while after reading the Roars thoughts about having Bellamy here at the Dragons , but alas it was over ever so damn quickly when I realized that our board would need to give their consent to the idea . Does anyone among us really believe that there is a person in the J.V. hierachy that could possess the grey-matter to lure the man from the Deep South to the Dragons ?

That is the first problem , the second of course is the financial aspect - there’s just no way in hades that they will open the piggy bank for the proposed $5 - $6 million outlay to sign him and the support staff . And finally to put the last nail in the coffin - he had previously fielded an offer from the Dragons a number of years back and after much deliberation decided to remain where he was - probably as there was a management in place that was results driven - that being success on the field , something that spurred him on to even greater heights.

Where this billy goat got the figure of $ 10 million that the J.V. has in its bank account is anybody’s guess , but I for one doubt if the Dragons have anywhere near half of that amount . I only wish that I could offer another alternative , but whilst the current members of the board remain the Dragons premiership hopes will be a repeat of our more recent seasons - as also rans .

I sympathise with the 12-14 hours however that has not resulted in wins.
9 losses out if last 11 games is worst results in a long time.

You are not wrong but there's been some good competition...I posted this in August last year:

I am going to keep updating this until Mary is on his bike.

2015 We lost 11 of our last 14 games under Paul McGregor (21% winning rate)
2016 We lost 7 of our last 9 games under Paul McGregor (22% winning rate)
2017 We lost 8 of our last 12 games under Paul McGregor (33% winning rate)
2018 We have lost 5 of our last 6 games under Paul McGregor (20% winning rate)

And if only there was a statistic for how annoying he is in a press conference...

The article is hilarious. Did get me thinking though - is sliding Barrett in to take over early next year the only option?
