waste of time we only play there 4 times a year which means he can still get to the other 22 games!A wall should be built around Wollongong to keep him out.

Goes along with what I have said in another thread. He is only looking to save his own skin."In 2016 and 2015 when you've got a few years to go on your contract you look more holistically," McGegor told AAP.
"You look at the juniors, the reserve grade and your squad and how you're going to strengthen your whole squad over a period of time."
"That time of my contract is coming to an end."
Narrowing his focus..... What a load of CRAP, McGregor is a dead man walking. He knows it...Just a matter of time, he's had his power taken away. Coyne &Co are calling the shots , McGregor is just a puppet, doing what he's told. The board is letting him save face. After all they are the idiots that wanted him in the first place. As much as Doust is a incompetent , he actually didn't want McGregor coach. He was out voted to hire an established NRL coach. So now we've got McGregor pretending he's still coach, when actually he's a dead man walking and Coyne & his commity are really running the show.Paul McGregor is narrowing the focus of his role as he fights to keep his St George Illawarra NRL coaching job in 2017.
Coming off-contract and under pressure, McGregor has already stepped away from the club's recruitment process following a review late last year.
He has previously put a strong emphasis on the club's youth, including last season where he famously sat the departing Benji Marshall in round 25 to test up-and-coming halfback Drew Hutchison.
But with McGregor and almost half of the Dragons' roster fighting to be part a potentially new-look Dragons next year, McGregor suggested the time for those kind of priorities was over.

It's fair to say then, that with Mary's new, sharper, narrow focus, that he has no more excuses for...
Blatant and continued selection bungles...
Predictable and inept game plans...
Failing to recognise when something is not working, when it's clearly obvious to supporters, opposition coaches, commentators and even the press.
Therefore, if at least these few fundamental coaching responsibilities are improved, then we should see some solid improvement in on field performance.
I can't wait!
Stop insulting goats!MacGregor is just a goat coach. The Dragons are in no better position than when McGregor started.
That's the sign of a goat coach.
Look at Brad Arthur at the Eels. They'd won 2 consecutive wooden spoons the previous years, and now look at the squad they've built.
This club is going to the goats.
