As f**ked as this game was I'd like to list the positives:
1. At least the ref had the guts to back himself and make big calls. You will never see this today.
2. Apart from the Peachey send off I don't think he got it that wrong.
3. It allowed John Morris to look like a world beater.
4. It allowed Cayless to score a 50m try. You don't see props do that much.
5. We got to see why Jamie Lyon is the best centre of the past 15 years.
6. This game clearly had a positive impact on crowds.
7. Some of the tries, despite the disparity, would match a highlight reel for the whole season these days despite no kick to the corner and have a winger score inches from the touch in goal line tries.
8. The commentator's pronunciation of Wee Waa.
9. The commentary when the touchie 'dobbed' on Matt Rieck.
10. And generally the fact that the game was better then than now even when it was ruined by send offs.
