I'm sure if you guys were leaving your current employer for a new job with better pay, that you'd be busting your arse too with your current employer who doesn't value you as much as your new employer.

So Merrin was apparently 'playing for a contract' last season, I'd hate to see how much his intensity will drop after he puts pen to paper with his new club.
