Howdy all.

Its great to see some of the old faces,
.... dont make them like that anymore.
remember Dick Huddart collecting glasses at the old north Cronulla pub when I was an underage drinker. He was one big hombre.

Im an old sharkie and this is my fav.

Damn straight Quigs.

I've been collecting a few old Scanlens cards to go with the ones I already had to offset no footy. Have about 80 odd now from 1968 to about 1982.

Those card are from the 1968 collection EA?

Offcourse he photos are a little older.
I'm guessing the Barry Beath photo is from 1965 when he played for NSW.
Bruce Pollard didn't play for Saints after 1967.
Dick Huddart, 1964-1968.

Interesting to note the cards are calling them 'the Dragons'... according to Dave Middleton and John Brady at the NRL, the Dragons didn't start until 1999. ;-)

Thanks for that EA.

All mine have been lost over the years. That's what you get for moving house 50 times.

I'm trying to build up an online collection.

By any chance have you got one of Lord Ted in a Saints jersey?

This is now obviously the 'Hull Photo Page'.

Apologies my bread stealing friend, maybe I should have posted pictures of St George winning something...oh hang on....

Like southernsaint said, the link with Tinghu was the obvious reason for me posting them. Nice to see you lot are a cheerful bunch.

LMAO.

Surely you could have thought better then that ?

Even the dimwits which support Hull KR can do better then that and they invented the song!

It appears that a sense of humour in the old dart is still a rumour....by the way, my forefathers were free settlers, not convicts.

In fact, the darkest blot on my family history (until I came along) was the earliest recorded ancestor who assisted William I in taking over (the poms have a history of being beat up it seems).

As it is, one of your football teams won a championship on the back of an Aussie:D

Considering that William I was the last time that the English/British home islands were "beat up" and that was way back in 1066 I reckon that's a pretty impressive history.
