I've read some rubbish articles in my time, but that one takes the prize. It reads like an article that was written days ago but with minor details added to make it seem as if there is something new to report.

We won. Report that you motherf**kers.

I am not going to say much on the latest round of supposed salary cap 'dramas' however I would not be surprised if the NRL use this as a trigger to make some of the changes they want and were part of the governance review.

I can see 3 directors stepping down from the PNRL board to allow 3 'independents' to take their places and wouldn't be surprised to see some executives from the PNRL disciplined by the NRL due to their signing of Salary Cap related Stat Decs that may now prove false.

No election required - they just step down from PNRL and remain on PLC Board (which the NRL doesn't care about).

You must have been who Pou was referring to.
You and that other fella who posts a lot of stuff about a plumber.
It's quite clear you blokes despise our club, and would rather see us lose all the time, just to make a point.
It must be true, because Pou and Gronk and Phantom said so.

What have I said ? :?

All I have repeatedly pointed out that there are consistently no quotes from anyone from the NRL. None.

My beef with Heckle and Jeckle all week has been that they should not jump to conclusions and swallow the click bait that has been dished out every day. The Rothfield Sunday Telegraph rubbish above is a prime example.

Am I wrong ?

Correct. Merkins need to look away when it comes to this dribble and not allow them to fuel speculation.

It's all about the click bait.

In fact if you choose to get your NRL news from say NRL.com or abc.net.au/news/sport/rugbyleague/ surprise surprise there is no mention of any of these unquoted allegations. Wonder why ?

In relation to the salary cap crap. If we are compliant for this year there is no way they will take any points off us. This is all about past discretions which I'm sure all clubs do, it's only our club has rats in it who would sacrifice our season for their own agendas. They make me sick. If the objective is for Sharp to resign I am sure he will.mwhen it comes to the crunch he would never put himself before the club. That's what I see anyway.

Absolutely spot on, this is why so many of us do t always agree with sack him, unless board etc. the Devils outside are basically f..ksticks who are happy to destroy this season for their own selfish, nasty reasons. Good morning Raaaaaaay.:crazy:

Haven't heard Hadley's voice for almost a decade now... it's very refreshing to watch television broadcasts on mute (and pressing the subtitle button), or listen to a different station's radio coverage of games.

Yep when push comes to shove I think and sincerely hope that the chairman does the right thing..

I was told last night that we haven't quite hit rock bottom yet...

I agree re the rats. But I wouldn't be so sure about not losing points for prior season behaviour. Otherwise, if you don't get caught during the season in which the dubious behaviour occurs, you never lose points. Both the Storm and the Dogs lost points (in part) for indiscretions occuring in previous years (which to be fair, had continued).

If the chairman (or any Board director) was to step down, does anyone remember who the next eligible Director to fill the vacancy would be? That is, who finished 8th (or 9th) in the most recently held Board elections?

yes i'm sure he will be in full voice when he comes on
watch him spend 30 seconds covering the win then 40 minutes spraying sharp & the board and calling for the return of fitzy

He's a maggot we all know that but we're not exactly doing ourselves any favors by giving him attention..f**k him
