As for the club catering to TPA sponsors, I'd be very surprised if that isn't the case across all clubs. It's hardly a revelation that for mine that a club would seek to foster positive relationships with all parties that involve themselves financially with the club. Be that directly or through TPA's.
That's kinda the point of having corporate facilities, It's how business is done and it's a good part of why people would get involved financially. Frankly, for all the talk of TPAs accross the NRL, that would add up to shit load of money, and anecdotally I just don't see the level of endorsements etc out there by players that would justify the investment on that basis alone.
However that some one within the organization would "leak" this kind of stuff, speaks volumes about the character of said person, and any other individual who through such behaviour would seek to gain benefit. Attempts such as this to damage the board with little or no regard for the potential damage to the club, should be treated with the disdain and disgust of which they are fully deserving.
