Since April 2009 it has been a collective f**k up! You can blame the plumber all you want but your mates started the rot and set the standard for these other morons to continue!
The biggest problem is even if someone else does come in to run the club, all the wankers from before will keep on interfering with the club because they just can't let go, and would rather see the club burn than not be in power.
Believe it or not Jake, you're part of the problem, even if you choose not to see it. Taking delight in faults of any board members (whether you like them or not, or if they ousted your mates that were in previously) isn't productive, but you're entitled to your opinion I guess.. It just stinks of sour grapes to me, and we already have a laundry list of previous (and failed hopeful) board members throwing enough mud as it is..
Funnily enough. I agree with you that changes need to be made, and a completely new, professional board needs to come in and ALL of the old buggers trying to keep holding on need to go away once and for all, and let the club move forward.
So lets just nuke the joint.........Exactly. Any new board will have their hands tied by factions trying to bring them down. Just like every board since 2009.
I've got an idea...
how about we f**k this board off and get people who are not aligned with any of the 3 major factions that have ruined this club in the last decade...
just a thought..
yeh, but the difference is that if the club is, in fact, providing benefits to the providers of the TPAs, and those benefits are undisclosed or not on an arms length basis, then we've probably breached the cap rules. And put what is potentially a key part of the evidence in the board minutes.
Exactly. Any new board will have their hands tied by factions trying to bring them down. Just like every board since 2009.
So lets just nuke the joint.........
The problem is they are all hurting the club, no matter how much they claim to love the club. Every time they leak info to harm the current board they wound the club all through their own petty jealousies. Why don't we just point the finger in the right direction - that is, anyone who wants to see the club fail, even if only in the short term.
What a joke...Why is this dragging on more then the melbourne cap thing.
And Cam smith now getting in on the jokes taking piss out of Hindmarsh for not winning a grand final Gee !!
Cam Smith is just a classless twat.
As for the latest allegations, I look forward to the auditing of Third Party deals at all clubs. :sarcasm:
Cam Smith is the most classless piece of shit in RL.
Another deflection, you blame news Corp one day and then you blame Fairfax the next day. It's deflection at its pure best. Maybe just maybe your mates on the board are the problem and maybe the whole world isn't against you.
Keep making excuses and deflecting lol
His actions in the whole McKinnon just showed what sort of person he is.Objectively Cameron Smith isn't classless in his career, in media appearances or in off-field behavior. A classless bogan may however accuse him of being so because "STATE OF ORIGIN M8". By virtue of his standing in society his "class" would be pretty high.
THE NRL is aware of documents detailing how the Parramatta Eels board of directors were warned about a potential salary cap problem in relation to a third-party deal for big-name recruit Anthony Watmough.
The documents show how the Eels chief financial officer last year told the club the Watmough deal had the potential to put Parramatta in breach of the salary cap rules.
While there is no suggestion Watmough has done anything wrong, the latest red flag for the Eels will put further pressure on the club’s power brokers.
The issue for the Eels around the Watmough warning is the club’s CFO warned the board of a possible problem last June.
The Eels then signed a statutory declaration last October guaranteeing they had complied with the NRL’s salary cap rules, ignoring the warning from the CFO.
The development comes as the Eels board of directors and club power brokers find themselves embroiled in a fresh salary cap investigation.
With a new election for the club’s board approaching in May, The Daily Telegraph has published explosive allegations about the Eels deliberately devising ways to skirt around the NRL’s strict salary cap rules and regulations.
Champion Eels fullback Jarryd Hayne, who is now playing NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, is also at the centre of the allegations after details emerged he was paid $39,000 after leaving the club.
The Watmough warning will form part of the NRL’s widespread investigation into the way the Eels have been handling the salary cap.
