I loved it in the match thread the others day. Some jerk offs was bagging out Tomkins; all the usual ignorant diatribe; then he immediately scores that try- best way to shut up a bunch of no-nothing trolls.

Mate, with the way you overly optimistic gyppers were hyping him up as the next Billy f**king Slater in the off season, one decent try is the least he can do for ya, after being mostly a fart in a balloon for the rest of the season.

Forget the trolls (we know who they are), but there are many of us who are justifiably disappointed in what Tomkins has produced so far.

One could argue it was equally annoying and ignorant rambling on about how amazing he is and that he'll turn this club around and get us premierships.

No doubt he's getting better but its been largely just standard so far from him.

The thing that annoys me is a lot of the pre season Tomkins dribbling wasn't even Warriors fans yet now we have to deal with the geniused trolls because of it.

Yeah... It wasn't the warriors fans talking up tomkins. I don't think many people were if any.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I hope we let Locke go. Good fullback, shit winger. I'd rather we use his money for a specialist winger rather than try and put him there when he isn't that good on the fringes and he doesn't wanna be there

Not how I recall it TBH. I recall a lot of non-Warrior fans saying that, the Poms saying he was the Billy Slater of Super League, and Warrior fans in general being excited yet anxious. That said he has 4 tries from 7 games in a badly performing outfit. I'm sure he'll get better too. His passing is also excellent.

Or they could just move Tomkins to the halves, where he should be.

Pretty sure most Warriors fans were excited to get his signature, but not 'hyping him up'.

Enjoy Ben Barba. He seems to be meeting expectations up there.

The bloke looks like a match winner and will only get better. The problem for you blokes is will he become disillusioned if you don't start winning regularly ?

Sam Tomkins was named Man of the Match by Fox Sports today in the NZ Warriors defeat of Melbourne. He was competing against the likes of Billy Slater, Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk.

Tomkins was excellent tonight. This is the standard we were all hoping for when the deal was announced. He's improving each week and may yet shake off the dreaded bust label.

Tomkins is easily the Warriors' best player. Was excellent tonight.
Looked so much better than Slater.

Can we officially label Bunniesman a dunce. I know he is already but he loved circle jerking to his prophecy that British backs can't make the grade here. I mean seriously what a lot of rot.

He's improving every week, if he keeps going like this it's going to be pretty damn good towards the end of the season

I was pleased to see how classy his kicking game was, we hadn't really seen that side of his game until tonight.
