Contributed to 3 of our 4 tries in defense. Looked like he couldn't be bothered running at full speed in attack.

And the way he was chased down by his replacement was poetry in motion.

The personification of our present and future in Reynolds, better, stronger, hungrier, faster, than our past.

Still, sandow cops a lot of unfair criticism, the intercept late in the game...he was run down by a quicker better younger player....yet the commentators virtually crucified him for not scoring.....but they forget in taking the intercept he saved a certain try.

Oh ffs. Did you see him smiling? Noone that is running at absolutely 100% can smile.

He is (statistics back it up) one of the worst defenders in the league. And he added little to nothing in attack to make up for it.

Anytime he touched the ball near our tryline it seemed like their play slowed down. The only time they looked threatening was when Roberts had the ball.

That intercept did stop a try. Good on him. He earned 1 or 2 repeat sets. Good on him.

None of that begins to make up for all the bad he did. He contributed to letting in 3 tries, and it should have been 4 as a try was disallowed for no good reason.

And the Eels look half decent in attack when Roberts gets the ball, their attack dies when Sandow gets it. Then add that to his turnstile defense and what do you have?

Look everyone is saying me being harsh on him is because of resentment or whatever, but that couldn't be further from the proof. I was upset 12 months ago that he left. But now I'm so glad, him leaving let us find a much better option in his position.

I want him to do well, I have nothing personal against him, he helped the club by leaving. But while he was with us I supported him, even while mad at all the things he did wrong. But I excused them because I thought it was the club or John Lang who were at fault. But then he moved and he's even worse.

He frustrates me because he has talent, but week after week he proves he just doesn't care. A clear example of that was his smirk and not running at 100% speed when he had a chance to put his team within 6.

He just doesn't care.

Parra would have been better off keeping Robson. His style suits what Kearney wants to do, and he's doing great at Cronulla.

Kearney knew what style he wanted and he went and chose the worst possible halfback for what he wanted.

Prince and Soward are hardly elite defenders and they won comps but I'd say the stats suggest they're nowhere near as bad as Sandow.

Looking at missed tackles per game, Sandow is the worst in the comp.

One thing about Sandow that I won't forget is that after he had signed for the Eels, he played his best footy for us, especially noteworthy considering all the guys we had out.

He could have been a soft c**k like Idris, but he tried his guts out until the end.

I hope the kid all the best, but playing behind a pack that doesn't get a roll on or get down the other end much doesn't help.

While far from perfect, this year Sandow has improved significantly. His kicking game, from 40/20s to field goals to conversions is great. He's been one of our few players that actuualy plays hard the entire game. Plays with passion and that "grubbyness" factor that he has reminds me of Gallen and Ennis and is something you hate in other teams players but something you love when it's one of your own.

I think he will be Thurston's heir as the long term #7 for Qld, has all the tools to go all the way, with just a question mark on his maturity and decision making. IMO he's improved in those areas this year.

If we lose him we have noone to blame but ourselves. Signing Sutton before Sandow was an extraordinarily stupid thing to do. Sutton is a good backrower and a shit five eighth. We have plenty of backrowers, but a talented 7 like Sandow is a rarity, and to make Sutton more of a priority than Sandow makes no sense.

Guess what, this may be a shock, but yes even I am capable of being wrong.

I thought a lot of his problems were the clubs fault or the coaches fault and that he'd mature out of them.

Now with a change of club and change of coach, he's no better. That excuse doesn't work anymore.

Yeah because Dunniesman is the only person in Rugby League who was calling Sandow fantastic last year and saying he has become a dud this year at Parramatta

It was mainstream opinion that the addition of him would make them a top 8 team.

He was talked about as the biggest thing in Parra colours since Sterling.

I, like many many people, overrated what he was doing last year while ignoring his issues. That's been brought to light this year.
