I would have kept Isant Shama, he wouldn't be worse than these pie throwers.

Like I said yesterday, Kholi made too many changes.

I wish Ishant played too, he deserves all the 0-100's he gets

Dropping Pujara makes no sense at all

well T20 cricket was designed to suit Indian cricketers strengths - batting.

There's nothing about T20 cricket that will develop anything good in any type of bowler.
Boundaries brought in a mile, batsmen tonking their tits off. It forces bowlers to bowl traditionally poor deliveries (Down leg side, short and wide) etc.

I hate that whore of a game and wish it would die a fast death. Then we can get back to have properly decent pace bowlers.

The English invented T20 didn't they?

With the success of the BBL Id say it isn't going anywhere fast.

To me its just hit and giggle, which is fine for short spells and the perfect summer TV fodder.

Test matches is where its at of course but if anything its ODI that seem to be in danger.

Pujara was bizarre, he's seriously good, and got some seriously bad decisions - not like he looked horribly out of form, and he was outperforming his opposite #

The good news is only India have largely suffered at the hands of the IPL, they're lucky a few good batsman have the ability to adapt to different formats otherwise they'd be somewhere at Zimbabwe level (which is the level of this bowling attack)

Sri Lanka look depleted but most of the other teams have pretty decent bowlers still.

The poms started it off but India refused to bite (like with anything that is not their idea).

And then the World T20 happened where Dhoni's ragtag bunch miraculously won and catapulted him and T20 cricket into instant super stardom and the IPL was the lovechild.

They were lucky to win that T20 WC as well, they had a bowl off (lol) vs Pakistan, Australia were cruising and blew it and then Misbah had that epic choke when the game was won.

It was seriously entertaining though and I like T20 as a format of cricket in general.

The IPL is the worst thing that happened to modern cricket however.

Well done Watson you f**king spiv.

4 runs more could've seen us rack up a pair of 200 run partnerships in the same innings.
