I'd put my money on declare today. A follow on scenario doesn't seem to be the favoured approach these days.
Get your hand off it, by your definition, it is a courageous innings by Watson
No doubt Watson was under pressure when he went out and he got runs so good luck to him.
But the task was made all the more easier by the work his openers did against a beaten attack on a road of a pitch.
So seeing as its only day 2, and barring a collapse, will we see India bat today?
Unlikely I think. I assume Australia will just try to keep batting until the score is infinity+1000..

Watson saving wicket at the SCG
Australia should aim to reach 600 today and declare.
India will have no hope of reaching that if this turns into a typical crumbling SCG wicket.
Final test on next Tuesday
Don't think Australia will have any changes, don't seem to be anyone injured
Read in the telegraph that with Mitch Marsh will be in the side when fit and that this test is Watsons last to prove himself
A shaky 105 in a dead rubber would be about right
Thank f**k this isn't a drop in pitch...or is it ? :sarcasm:
Terrible wicket tbh, even if it deteriorates
Anyone could have scored runs on that wicket - as proven, even Watson can - all that fine form in the nets counting now, flat deck, dead test - he's made for this shit
There's enough in the wicket. It's not a subcontinent style road by any means. India have just been disgraceful so far....terrible bowling, listless captaincy and poor fielding gave us much more than the pitch did yesterday
Watson should turn his bat 90 degrees before facing. He's a better chance of hitting the middle of it then
