On this forum...

The wickets have been flat, comments such as "Marsh has done well" have been made, and Smith and Warner hailed as champions...

And yes, nuts - Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman and Ganguly were a bit special

Oh on here!? lol that's a different story altogether.

Though on second thought I don't think anyone here hasn't given credit where its due, Kohli copped a lot of hate (from me too) but I don't think anyone has said the guy can't bat.

And everyone has been climbing into Watson and Darsh, so don't really see any bias although a lot of the hate is exaggerated a bit.

And btw Sehwag was also a crucial part of that mix, those five pretty much took India to the #1 ranking (and not Dhoni despite popular belief)

Oh JJ, the massive chip on your shoulder towards anything Australian is hilarious. If only poor precious little you could see what the kiwis say out on the field, might blow your suspicious mind.

I think the wicket has been flat but its still difficult to score 4 centuries. It just hasn't really answered the questions that Kohli has over him.

The pitches have been disappointing. They had a lot more life in them for the England series. Now a lot has gone on this summer that might be playing a role. The games have been pushed out but the MCG and the SCG in particular have been too flat. Its not that batsmen can pad out their records. They might as well cash in while they can considering they live and die by their average its that you know...its not great viewing.

I like the ball whizzing around and batsmen ducking. I like to see batsmen fight back and score runs with good batting. This I might as well just be watching them face up against a bowling machine.

It's been a strange series - imo the main difference has been the bowling - the Indians have been diabolically bad (and the selctions - this test, and no Aswhin in Adelaide) - and Ryan Harris in particular is just a terrific bowler...

They have been disappointing, poor bloody Ryan Harris - he's so f**king good and he got those 3 tracks to bowl on!!

Of course that is the difference but we all knew that it would be. Australia is a much better bowling side. India is a better batting side but bowling is more important in test cricket.

Gotta laugh at that Bunnings ad.

"My kids actually love that I work at Bunnings, they think I'm a bit of a super-hero".

Nothing says superhero like an adult who can't get a real job.

Harris deserves that as an aside. I thought he bowled really well yesterday for absolutely nothing from the pitch.

Haven't checked the stats, but despite not playing in the only test where there was any help, he'll no doubt have good figures for this series...

Terrific bowler, imo only behind Steyn... shame he's such a late bloomer (I am assuming this, given he wasn't selected earlier) and his body is beaten up

Without Clarke and at full strength I think they are better. We are a much better bowling side and they have matched us mostly this summer.

Warner > Vijay
Rogers > Rahul/Dhawan
Watson < Sharma/Pujara (its close but I'll give India this one)
Smith = Kohli
Marsh < Rahane
Burns = Raina (Burns unproved, Raina is crap)
Haddin = Saha

Australia has a much better tail, so its close but imo Australia is better.

India are at full strength, Clarke comes back and easily beats whoever he is up against.
