before I started drinking, I always thought the idea of being drunk sounded thoroughly unappealing. Then it happened. There's a reason why people get drunk, its bloody good fun. Mind you, if you need to get drunk to have fun, you're probably an alcoholic. At the same time, there's nothing more boring than being around a crowd of drunks when you're stone cold sober.

I have never been drunk in my life (without going into detail, my family has a poor history with alcohol and I vowed I wouldn't turn out that way), but I have always managed to have an awesome time, even when those around me are smashed.

100% Right!, When me and The Wife went to the States for the money we outlayed we were not going to get pissed every single day and we were very busy seeing the sights and going places to get drunk, We did kick back in Vegas though and did drink a bit, Best hoilday ever.

You dont need to be blind drunk to have a good time, I think you have a better time when you are sober.

Exactly. I enjoy a few beers or glasses of wine or Canadian Club and Cokes or whatever with good company. But I don't get drunk. Never have, never will.

That's not to say I look down a people who do or whatever. It's just not for me personally.
