Scott poised for shock return to Sydney

I certainly agree that taking all the money and throwing it towards one superstar forward is the way to go but realistically I don't think we could get one and there aren't even any available.

It's a nice dream though.

We can compete with other clubs when it comes to matching prices; that's at least a good start and puts us ahead of plenty of other clubs. Manly seemingly are the only other club that would have the same cap space.

Can't remember a time we ever had the space to buy a top tier talent.

We should sign Bird and then run with a Scott/Sims/Bird backrow just to troll the Cowboys.

Don,t think the Cows lost too much sleep about losing the Sims Brothers. All Tatts and no grunt. They look tough, but have no discipline and don,t deliver.

1. Carter - The type of tough forward to replace Smith and who has a great offload,
2. Pauli Pauli - Not sure why he is in reggies with Parra but showed some brillance last year.

Both are young and could form a long term pack with the Sims boys

Will Carter get off the drink???
Will Pauli Pauli stop eating???

Pauli Pauli isn't that fat, he's built like Jason Taumalolo, his problem is he tends to fall in love with the fancy stuff, fancy offloads, flick passes, etc. He's a big, athletic guy, he needs to learn to tuck it under his arm and just run hard.
Carter I think deserves another chance, not that I condone drink driving but compared to some of the stuff other guys have been done for and are still playing I don't think he should be rubbed out for life

Surely we wouldn't sign him when the cocaine thing is still over his head. Not after all we went through with wicks and Houston

Bird's wife (Rochow's sister) is obviously from here. So we would make sense.

If we do lose Scott then Bird is the perfect replacement, especially in terms of being a hard man and leadership.

Bird is a goose but his talent is undeniable. The question is Whether Beau is going to Brisbane or Sydney. Let's be honest. bird's attack is far greater than Beau's and he has exactly the same level of mongrel in him. I know many won't want him here but he would give it his all and he always plays his best footy when settled.

if we manage to somehow keep Scott AND sign Bird, we'll have potentially one of the best knights packs ever.

8.Kade Snowden
9.Adam Clydesdale
10.Tariq Sims
11.Beau Scott
12.Greg Bird
13.Korbin Sims

14.Robbie Rochow
15.Joseph Tapine
16.Jack Stockwell
17.Tyler Randell

If that pack fires, we bash teams every week.

*edit*

In fact, I'll go as far to say we'll win the comp in 2016 if we sign bird and keep scott.

No thanks. It's going to be ages before they resolve this drug issue. We need to distance ourselves from it.

If Rick could get him to play without the merkin in him and the constant whinging every time he is tackled and the absolute stupid penalties be gives away every week then he'd be great.

But, that aint ever going to happen. Plus he seemingly can not stay away from the police charge sheet.

Let him go elsewhere.
