How big is todays game against the Bunnies for us?

A win today, then a bye, then take on (a turbo less) Manly, who haven’t had a bye?

I know we can’t get too far ahead, but not even we can lose the bye 😂 and wont get a better chance to give it to Manly?

6 pts for the taking, if we are good enough?

And that game was a typical Tigers affair. Time to give some other forwards a crack. Bring in Tuki Simpkins, Fonua Pole and Austin Dias.

I reckon we will win 3 more at the most meaning the one area we have consistency in is finishing worse off year after year. I know Madge has heaps of excuses but even though I will sound like a cracked record we need a coach that can retain any players resembling quality and attract more quality than we lose.
I know this season hasn't finished but already I am losing hope of a top 8 finish next year.

After last nites loss I’ve lost total hope.At half time it was set up perfectly for us to gain a valuable 2 pts b4 the bye & make a strong run home to finally break into the 8.With 15 mins to full time I was beating myself up for deluding myself this rabble could qualify for the 8.4 yrs of delivering unforgivable pissweak garbage under maguires stewardship. He shouldn’t survive this although expect the unexpected from the brains trust at Concord so it wouldn’t surprise if Maguire is offered a new contract.

The loss hurt. It hurt as we saw a glimpse of how tough we can be in staying in the fight in the first half. We also saw some skill and (quite unusually) raw pace in our play. That half came offthe back of a few good weeks (last week against the dogs was deceptively not good).
And then the second half.... The manner of that half is what makes the loss pretty devastating. If we stayed in the fight for the 80, I could have lived with a loss. But....we didn't.
Madge will not coach at the Tigers beyond this season.....the next few weeks when we have no Origin players and should get some results our way but probably won't will seal his fate.

Apparently there will be a mid-season review.
I feel for you Madge but it is time to say goodbye.
Good luck at the Bulldogs.

Just wondering who else could he have played in that game?

We were world beaters for most of the first half?

Who is going to take over?

I'm happy for Madge to go, if it is Madge who sucks, but he wasn't on the field in the second half and a few of he players have stated that they went away from the game plan? There was no reason at all to think the result would be what it was, unless some players gave up?

Good luck at the Bulldogs.

Boards meet on a regular basis and it would be weird not to talk about the football department at a board meeting of a football club, but it's not like they have organised a special meeting to talk specifically about Madge. For mine, if they were going to get rid of him the time would have been at the end of last year after the disgraceful flogging at the hands of the Bulldogs.

If they do sack Madge though, I wonder who would be next to take the poison chalice? Flanno the drug cheat? Two time loser Trent Barrett? Get Potter back and pretend the last ten years were just a dream?
