Ideally Tallyn would spent a year playing nsw cup getting conditioned against men. I think Jake Simpkin still has the makings of a good first grade hooker, COVID really stalled his career, its a shame he'll have to leave to do so. Penrith, Cronulla, Canberra and Parra should all be trying to get him.
Might make a good swap option, shortly then.

TDS is the heir apparent now, isn’t he.

Sort of disagree with that mate. Kicking is a crucial part of todays game and also if you keep the d honest eg try to get the fullback engaged you open the d up to long shifts and kicks to corner etc.
I do agree that he has more to his bow than just kicking. Look at the highlights I posted, he has a complete game.
Wasn’t saying it wasn’t, but Brooks could kick as well, he just didn’t seem to have the brains to know where to kick it.

He could kick in general play and put up the high ball but too many of his kicks were either too short or kick dead in goal or a kick to nowhere with no chasers. Handy backup goal kicker though. HOWEVER you have to score tries to get conversions ha ha

On twitter:
“We’ll change a fair few things, we already have, and over the next week we’ll change other things as well which will come out, signings and few other things with staff and that” - Shane Richardson on SEN

“We’ll be doing it a lot differently as far as marketing goes and the corporate side goes and a complete change in attitude in how we are seen as a club” - Shane Richardson on changes

Richardson says the roster isn’t as balanced as he would like, but they’ll continue to massage the roster over the next 12 months to give themselves the best possible chance to be successful in 2025, while also focusing on putting themselves in the best position to win games now

I feel like having a beer, this is just the type of talk we need to hear.

Yeah, it’s great shit to hear.
f**k, I’m feeling confident, the arseholes have done it again hahaha
I read you that your just like me, a bloody lunatic Wests Tigers supporter.
During last year's preseason I was going off how well our squad looks and the year before that....then came 2xwooden spoons.
Every year since 05 we get a sprinkling of new talent but it just ends up in muck.
This time though we've got a new board, new football ops director, new CEO and Chairman, new coach, albeit a novice, new assistant coach, new players and the signing of a marquee ½ and maybe more to come, maybe it's Olam.
Sad to lose ronnie go but he's also been updated, with who I don't know but were are being the most proactive in every department since we started the merger.
We've finally got off our hands. Woohoo.

Who knows, our new coach may end up being the best coach in Rugby League history? Hahaha

NBWT:
Benji worked with Wests & Balmain junior reps as well as the WT Cubs program in 2022 in a coaching capacity.

Likes of Matamua, Galvin, Da Silva, Laulili’i brothers, Miller, Saukuru, Tumeth, Mason etc.

Sure he’d have some opinions on them prior to this preseason.

“We’ve got a couple of little changes we can make, so we will work towards that over the next 7 days”
- Richardson on how set the 2024 roster is

That must be Olam, don’t you think?
