Hasler has turned the Dogs into a premiership threat with little change to their roster ,him and Price are examples of how a coach can be an influence on a team. From different ends of the scale of course. The Dragons didn't have to buy a squad like Canterbury and go to the market previous years. Why buy a back when you have Cooper, Gaz, Moz and Nighty. They had Hornby at F/B but moved him at half and got Boyd. Great business. In the forwards they had Young, Creagh, Scott, Hunt, Prior and filled the rest of the spots with Smith, Costigan, Fein etc. As for Soward they got a half on the cheap and turned him into a gun. Why would they have needed to go to the market with a great bunch of juniors.
As for next season they have allready snapped up Beale. People seem to forget that. He is an absolute gun player and a great buy. They have Cummins coming through and Kyle on Stand by to fill in the boots for Hornby. If Soward goes they will then buy a half. Saints have a great strategy in terms of building a squad and with the quality of players they have PRODUCED not bought like the DOGS and co they have also had to pay to RETAIN these guys. Retaining a player and extending their contract is more or less buying a player. Insytead of getting someone from another team you are paying a guy to stay longer at the club.
Saints have a great Roster and should be in the top 8 with that squad, but with a clueless twit in charge they are 11th. Next season is over too if he is still around.
From a team which was brimming in confidence that they literally just played the motions each week and won without even having to play a full 80 mins to a team that has not even got the confidence to score a try is a huge turnaround in 12 months.
lol totally the wrong example. The Dogs have had little change to the roster. We have had MASSIVE change to the roster.Hasler has turned the Dogs into a premiership threat with little change to their roster ,him and Price are examples of how a coach can be an influence on a team. From different ends of the scale of course.
Greenberg is obviously a world leader in public relations. He has a lot of people fooled. Who let Sonny Bill leave? Potentially one of the best forwards ever to play the game? Idris, Hannant, Mason, O'Meley.Greenberg is not a shit CEO like ours who lets his best leave the club in their prime.
Forget J Moz, we will not get him until he's 30 at the very best. Greenberg is not a shit CEO like ours who lets his best leave the club in their prime. I'd be more concerned whether we could keep B Moz when his next contract comes around.

SonnyBill did the bolt,Mason and O'Meley were past it and were let go at the right time, ask any Rooster supporter.Hannant's missus wanted to go back to Brisbane and Idris went for the money.Greenberg is obviously a world leader in public relations. You have just repeated what i said. Also the point i was making is the difference a coach makes to a team.lol totally the wrong example. The Dogs have had little change to the roster. We have had MASSIVE change to the roster.
What Greenberg has done, or is currently doing, is repair the brand of the Dogs to the point where players now want to go and play there.
It's what is Doust's major shortcoming. Our brand should be the greatest in the game. He hasn't sold it properly.
We should be the Man U of Rugby League. But we don't have someone with the smarts to sell it to the public.
x 3 on J-Moz. Every season he spends away from us, is another season develops and even closer bond with the Bulldogs club and playing group.
In all honesty why would you leave. Hasler as coach, that forward pack, and Barba in your team. All things going their way the Dogs will have a Premiership in three years.

Mate, they could do it this year. They played badly for half the match tonight and still dumped on the Tigpies.
You mean Jmoz, I hope.
