In all seriousness Linda Meech could score a ton on that pitch, hopefully we get 650 pretty quickly, give us many days to bowl the pommy plodders out twice

Lol Linda Meech. That was funny without even knowing who she is.

Haynetrain 1
Lord's flat deck 0

Even though it's the flattest and most lifeless deck I've ever seen in England, Australia have the bowlers to rip a couple out quickly. And realistically you only need to get Cook and Root cheaply. It's an average batting line up around those two.

I suspect Australia will win... flat or not, chasing 600 puts a lot of pressure on the team batting second.

Hopefully after this test the scoreboard reads

Aussie Plodders 1
Pommy Plodders 1

I think you'll find Smith is a great player, period.

It's amusing how much Australia going well burns you.
nothing to do with who's done well, the wicket is terrible... terrible

Smith is fine, but he's had some flat decks to bat on

He's scored centuries or at the very worst 90s in whatever country he has batted in

Kiwi's didn't fear our attack at Eden Park when they beat us in the WC when the ball was moving all over the place

Tough luck Rogers falling short of 200. well played though.
Having Clarke getting some early batting practice and hopefully finding some form with 360+ runs on the board isn't the worst thing in the world.
