Has anyone been reading cricinfo this test? Easily the worst commentary I have seen on there.

It is some dude attempting to be funny even second ball and failing miserably

He's been alright. Don't take him too seriously.

Bloody weird on the Haddin thing - even if they're all in England that's scary!

You lot are precious on Smith - fine fine player, on one hell of a tear - and deservedly rated very highly the ratings - but premature to call him great, and all I am saying is this wicket and most the wickets in Australia last summer were pretty flat...

Clearly de Villiers and Sanga remain the best - imo Smith heads the younger group a sniff ahead of with Root then Williamson and Kohli

Amla and Younis etc remain pretty f**king good too

This has really backfired on the Poms - they needed Miandad to take charge of the coin toss for them

Yep Smiffy isn't a all time Australian great yet but he is better than any Kiwi bat in history.......all about perspective

Me? Meh, whatever - England created this wicket, which isn't great - now they're paying - it's funny

The wickets in Aust last summer and these have made Smith look like Bradman - he's good, but his form and these flat tracks don't hurt

you've lost the plot, he's been doing it in almost every country he's played in

Stall, delay, hang on for the draw

Ingerlund, Ingerlund!

They'll be all out by tea, we bat 2 sessions just as a nice top off, bowl them out again in 5 sessions, then we might see a few lively pitches for Johnson and co to break a few arms instead of this docile rubbish which I have no doubt is a plan by England as they're shit scared of Mitchell Johnson

We'll still be batting tomorrow morning.

Point of order Mr Speaker...

Martin Crowe...

Not there and will never be as classy...

Will be run machine..clinical, figgetity, hard to get out...

But Crowe...far more a natural.

Cannot agree..

FTR not one English bat since Gower has been up to it, where smiffy is.

tbh nobody cares about technique in Australia. Bradman had a very ugly technique
