I saw Vaughan on Foxsports news tonight, he got ne hell of a bump on the elbow.

I hope he plays, his form has been sh*t lately.

I'd say its Collingwood in and Giles out, but we'll know by this time tomorrow night.

The pomms are saying the Aussie bowling attack is too old and won't be up for another test match so soon. Yeh, right, Warne and McGrath are 35 not 55.

Bring it on Pomms.

2 zip coming up.

Skynews reporeted this morning that Collingwood has been released from the squad, and the pomms are gonna stick with Giles.

Can't figure that one out.

I reckon we will lose now. We simply cant beat Australia with 10 players.

Giles is a King Nuffy. He will bowl maybe 20 overs for 100 odd runs for 1 wicket AT BEST. And he's ordinary as a bat/fielder.

With he 4 quickies we could have afforded to go with Collingwood. But oh well, these are the same selectors that went with Ian "Master of Spin" Bell ahead of Thorpe.

more like King of Pain

although that could be Vaughan if Lee hits him in the elbow

Vaughan, Bell and Giles. Theres about 50 runs and no wickets between them for the test match. Good move England.

Well, them sticking with Giles and including Vaughan can only be to our advantage... but the Poms have a good record against us at Edgebaston, don't they?

Classic commentary from cricinfo

...

and if only Warne had been as
quick with his hands as he is with a mobile phone, England may
have been one wicket down!

Mwahahaha

why did we elect to bowl?

c'mon aussies!

yes we did

we should have bowled first in the first test

the pomms made out this wicket would be a landmine but its a road and looks to be a 350 run wicket

maybe some foxing by the pomms, good move

Lee is overpitching may be trying to swing the ball, but its doing nothing and he's been driven with ease

shaping up to be a good contest

for you maybe, but even McGrath may have struggled on this wicket
