Parra should get a sponsorship deal in place with Fiji that we take a game there each year (instead of Darwin) and then try to induce Semi back.
I reckon if Bernie was in charge of negotiations that would be a chance. The NT government can afford to pay us decent cash. Fiji gov could only afford a case of Fiji Bitter, sack of taro and some kava.

@T-Boon first broke soil with the Indian thread.yeh, but still not a bad suggestion
we should fork out and do it once a year, we dont need the broke arse Fijians to pay for it, it could pay dividends in the long term, we have 2 Fijians at Wenty atm, so surely a lot of the local people would like to follow their progress if they got an NRL gig
I think the idea has merit, cant believe it came form @T-Boon
Semi is gone.
He’s not coming back.
Let’s look to the future now.
We could chase Vodafone as a sponsor.Trying to get more of the Indian community to our games is a great idea. I rank it in my top 10 ideas for the game. We need to sell the club on a macro and a micro level.

If we were the Roosters we would have the opposite attitude to this. It would be "find a way", "get it done".
I don't know what "look to the future" means when Semi is probably going to be the best attacking rugby footballer in the world for the next 3 years. We are a lot closer to home for him than France. He has a lot of friends here (I assume).
We should try everything to get him back here and also look to the future at the same time.
