Hmm It's not easy sometimes to find something to admire about our coach AG, but if there's one thing, it's his philosophical outlook regarding ref decisions and penalties. I'm confident he won't embarrass us when we get bundled out.

Anyone who starts off trying to justify Flanno's rant by agreeing that Maloney shouldn't have been sin binned instantly loses all credibility.

It was a clear professional foul that hindered a potential try scoring opportunity.

That's a sin bin.

The Sharks lost that game entirely through their own incompetence. Poor completions, a gross lack of composure, and a high missed tackle count.

Any refereeing mistake was secondary to their own shitness.

No problem with a coach 'telling it like it is'.

But maybe he could tell us why the sharks completion rate was so low, why their missed tackle rate was so high and why gallen and co took the wrong options at crucial times.

5 extra penalties blown and several calls that turned possession over will do that to your stats.

Still though it came down to referring decisions that directly determined the outcome at the end.

No strip penalty two points, no knock on scrum feed cowboys field goal.

That's taking every other dubious decision out of the game.

They might have got the call wrong, but that photo doesn't prove shit.

Does that look like a play the ball to you?

That's exactly what it looks like to me. He's in the process of playing the ball. The rule all year and previous years has been that the defensive player is not allowed to slow the play the ball down by holding on to the ball. What's Scott Bolton doing in the photo genius?

I have no issue with him being binned if that's the rule.

If it is then how come the player who tackled leutelewho was supporting feki without the ball wasn't binned, or even why it wasn't a penalty.

It's confusing eh?

He's a sharks supporter, but he's named himself after the dragons original name.

I don't think we are dealing with a brain surgeon here.

I figured out who he supported based on some of his other posts.

So he's a sharks supporter who named himself "St George".

Strange.

Good opening post.

Flanagan is embarrassing

He was wrong about the Maloney call. He was wrong about the Brailey call; wrapping the arms has been playing at the ball for yonks. Was also wrong about the Gallen call AFAIC.

Don't even care about the other 2 but he's wrong about more than half of what he's whinged about so should be fined just for being a flog.

From that still shot? Possibly just stopped a player scoring and about to let the ball go so that the gal can play the ball.

If gal is "in the process of playing the ball" as you say, he should be penalised for being on his knees. But I don't believe that either.

As I said, they may have got it wrong, but your photo doesn't prove shit.

Genius.

Happy to deal with any "logic" you have.

But when you have to resort to calling me a f**kwit and claiming that I hate cronulla, I'm going to guess you don't have any.

Do you know what point of the game this photo was taken?

If the answer is yes, do you think the tackle is complete? And what is Paul Gallen trying to do from this point?
