Lucky SKD didn't say naughty words to a riot cop, then he'd really be in trouble.

Darcy when people say the wife won't let them go to the pub its a white lie to spare your feelings. They just don't want to hang out with a lunatic.

SKD is out of the mental hospital...being locked in a cell at the cop shop for 6 hours [that newspaper article]would be enough to send one's mind into meltdown...by itself.
Never a good idea to attend any cop shop without a good lawyer...SKD attended alone.

He was back at training yesterday, under the care of a clinical psychologist and medicated, according to the interview on tv last night with coach Trent.
When they saw him, players hugged him.

It's not me...I hate "pubs", always have. ;-)

Usually the men say that their wives won't let them make their adult men 'children' living at home mow the lawn, clean the pool etc, and adult children pay board, etc.

...or that their wives boss them around, 'make' them do things when they want them to do things, not when the men want to do them.

The radio shock jocks, one in particular, not Kyle, who are always speaking that "Happy wife, happy life" etc nonsense...must share some of the blame, IMO.

Kyle S today; "The woman is always right"...and "A woman is a tricky 'beast' to navigate".

Glad to have him back. You know, innocent until proven guilty...

... Unless it's a 24 year old part time referee (who is a riot police officer), then you should be suspended without any charges laid against you.

Actually that's completely false. The best thing to do is attend alone and decline to give an interview, regardless of your guilt or innocence. By attending with a lawyer, not giving your version of events can be used against you. Without a lawyer present, not giving information cannot be used against you. Giving a statement in almost all cases has the potential to only do yourself a disservice. Police are not there to help you or to determine the facts, they are there only to gather evidence against you.

Threatening to break phones is much more serious.

Though it was mild on the 'threat scale', you still can't make a threat against a rugby league official. Moa's friendly shoulder tap should've served as a signal. Plus there were witnesses.

As for Skids, he's pleading innocent. If found guilty he'll be rubbed out of the game for good and deservedly so.

Agreed. However at this stage both players are innocent so both should be available play on the weekend.

You obviously did not hear Lyall Gorman's comments at the press conference on Sunday then.

Oh I have, and since then I have also heard countless other stories / versions of what happened. None of which have been confirmed or denied. At it stands alot of media outlets are happy to accept word for word what the refferee has reported without questioning bystanders to confirm whether ot not the the refs report is factual.

My point is only both players are still innocent.

How so?

Go there by yourself and you can be locked in a cell for 6 hours as allegedly happened to SKD.
You might also be talked into giving a statement , a "friendly chat with the nice police officer"...out to gather evidence against you.

Police are not there to determine the facts?
Well there you go.

Best to abolish the cops, give the People guns and we'll look after ourselves.
