Sheens Rumours

Just heard on radio 873 that dragons are in talks with Tim sheens and more info to come.
What do you think guys

I am not a fan of Price but if Sheens is being mentioned it is a case of better the devil you know. He did get the tigers a premiership but what did he do from that point. You expect a few lean years after a premiership but the Tigers have been ordinary for a long while. He was at the helm when a heap of talent was forced to leave that club. We have some talent coming through I would be gutted if they were discarded. So no for me. Next!

Sheens would be a tough task master, experienced who would not be the 'mate' as Price seems to be. I don't care what the players spurt out to the media, the dressing room is not listening to Price. I see no respect, authority or man management skills with Price. We can't all be doctors and lawyers, someone has to be a bricklayer and carpenter, same way.... Price, needs guidance and mentoring so as assistant coach suited him, just enough responsibility to keep him out of trouble....not the head coach role, which covers everything from A to Z.

ill take anyone, just need change in the joint... though to be fair last few weeks the mixing up of players in different positions and style of Dragons Football we have been playing has been a lot better.. but my major complaint with Price is that its always far too late before he makes change.. and I give him some kudos for the change now, it is once again many months too late.

Yep he is a slow mover our Price and by the time it registers it's more often than not too late.

Yar and you can never be successful like that, you need to keep up with the pace of NRL 1st grade.

Will be hard if Price does get shown the door when the roster is there next year & some of the kids are finally knocking at the door for 1st grade... but its better for the club.

Tim Sheens was always the target after failing to sign Bellyache .
Sheens declined coaching the dragons this year opting for some time off also to concentrate on coaching the Aussies in the world cup.
SHEENS WILL BE THE NEXT DRAGONS COACH.....LIKE IT OR NOT. ...

There's no doubt dragons are playing better this past couple of weeks, plus our injury toll is shocking... But price had made some monumental coaching stuff ups which have cost us this year.

**Merrin on the bench earlier in the year, and again last night.
**Persisting with Nathan Fien at half back... Probably his biggest stuff up
**Selecting Nathan green for so long... Runciman should have played much earlier
**signing drinkwater so he can play for cutters
**when frizzel was in best form he decided to drop him to bench
**His press conferences
**Putting nightingale at centre
**His love affair with chase Stanley... The guy is an average first grader at best
**Putting chase Stanley at 5/8
**Not giving Vea a run in first grade
**looking like a nervous school kid when interviewed
**being responsible for the departure of Jamie Soward
**selecting Matt prior

Feel free to add to this list everyone!!!

No. Steve Price will still be there if we like it or not.

I want him gone as much as the next bloke but its not going to happen for next season.

Sheens will be announced at seasons end with rumours getting stronger over next few weeks as it becomes general knowledge...

The deal is done except for contract which I believe is a 2 year deal with a view of bringing on the next coach and staying on as Coaching Director ..Source? One of our board members.......take it as fact!
