Yeh thats right, I am a creep,

no argument from me

i'm a creep for supporting a girl who has done nothing wrong

gee they could have saved a trial and just asked you

and is going to rot in a dirty jail overseas without family and friends.

maybe she will make freinds in jail

I'm a creep for believing that a foreign judicial system has completely disregarded all evidence for corby and sent her to rot in prison.

what evidence?

millers, don't talk to me about wanting people to die you piece of sh*t, your the wanker who supports George Bush in his crusade against the middleeast, millions of Iraqis are suffering and hundreds of thousands have died since your heroes invaded Iraq in 1991, but that ok isn't it? So if I were you, I would just shut my f**king mouth you filthy germ.
only a few hundred thousand?

make it a gazillion

or maybe the 150 million that you expressed you would like to see die in indonesia

Seems that not as many people support her as first thought. John Laws just gave the family a gobful, and a fair few people are ringing in against Corby.

I never said it was and have found it strange the defence never used him as a witness.

How do you know there was a bulge?

Did you see the size of the Sack. IF you have seen it no way could you say she didn't notice, in a bag that only contained a flat body board and flippers!!!

4.1 kgs of a leafy substance is freakin huge.

The whole story is bogus although she definitely wasn't acting alone.

If say it was put in there by a dodgy baggage handler and you did notice the extra weight and a bulge what are you supposed to do?

Took the words right out of my mouth...

After all, you're in a foreign airport surrounded by customs officials, police and security. Your best bet is to say "The bag is mine, but I've no idea who put the other contents in there!"

Ok now we are getting somewhere. You go to the bagage carousel and you pick up your bag, its obvious that its alot heavier and/or there is a bulge. What does the average person do?

If its me I put it down and have a look at what the hell is going on. So you check because it certainly wasn't this heavy or had something in that compartment when you checked it in. The last thing you expect is drugs.

But what does Corby do. She picks it up and merrily goes on her way through to customs and testifies that she had no idea there was anything in her bag until it was opend on the customs counter.

El Diablo, do you think that is a plausible story.

You didn't explain what you'd do.

You discover there's 4kg's of dope in your bag which wasn't there when you got on....

finish the story

No no no. Thats the whole point. To me her credability is shot because she claims she had no knowledge until it was opened on the customs counter and to me there is no possible way that could be the truth. Therefore she is not telling the truth. And why lie. Why say she had no knowledge of anything in her bag? Why not say I noticed something was there but didn't open the bag. Her story is full of these holes.

Getting back to your question as to what I would do, I open the bag at the carousel and I notice a filthy big bag of pot. 300% I DO NOT zip it up and try to sneak through customs. You look guilty if you get caught then and you are now implicated. I wouldn't even touch my bag, I would leave it where it was and go and inform customs/securtity. They would probably still arrest me but at least I haven't tried to smuggle it out of the airport.

But remember she did not testify to this and she is apparently telling the truth. She has testified she had absolutely no knowledge that anything was there. Is that credible?

I'd find a kiosk that sold Tally-Ho's.

You're using John Laws as a guage of public opinion??

Please! That's just like using Peter Costello as a guage of the comfort level and contentment of low-income-earning Australian families!

Who knows. Do you think it is possible not to notice the weight?

Did the prosecution at any stage say the handle on the boogie board case was not broken like she apparently said?

Did they even ask her why she didn't notice the weight difference?

Guilty ?

Innocent?

Personally I am under the impression she just might be innocent.
( this is the same as picking my team in the footy tipping)
I want her to be innocent.

This is the problem.

For Corby.

To use the Bali 9 as an example....their pre-Bali trail was uncovered in about a week .

Allegedly
This included previous trips by some of them with fake passports etc ,
How they met in night clubs and where they all worked together.
All these acquaintance's from their past came out saying stuff like they fell in with the wrong crowd.
Nights out on ecstasy, blah blah blah.

Now,
I haven't heard of one single connection between Corby and the pot back home or drugs what so ever.
I find this extraordinary.
There has been no suspect behaviour proved, surely this kind of info would of been leaked.
Its just the way it is, nobody can keep their mouths shut.

Not one single bottom feeder has come forward with a story connecting her with the drugs.

All this airport baggage handler stuff is just too coincidental.

The couple who arrived in Bali with the Pot in their luggage.
Why would you make that up.....it proves in my mind that it has probably been going on for years.

Some prisoner from Australia making the trip to Bali to try to clear her.
What the hell is that sh*t , he has since been stabbed for it.
The prosecutors claim he just wanted to taste the "air of freedom".
Yeah right......He'll be out of gaol in a few years anyway.
He knew full well the threat on his life his actions would have.
The whole procedure of no bag weight , no finger printing, no video evidence.

The alleged confession heard from a customs officer with a limited, if any grasp of the English language.
Which has since been the catalyst for the Judges decision.
"Yes that's my bag" doesn't translate into “yes they are my drug"s as far as I’m concerned.

The whole thing stinks of incompetence and disorganized 3 world chaos.

Against Corby;

The drug’s were in her luggage.
They don’t have a name of whom put in there.
No proof at all to give her an alibi so to speak.
She can't prove she didn't do it.
…………………………………………………………….

Everyone has an opinion about this , it’s like the Lindy Chamberlain case.

Corby’s mother made a passing comment of “ she is changing the world”.
In a way it’s hard to disagree I suppose, she has definitely changed Australian travel.

Those of you who think she is guilty , would you not lock your surfboard covers now?
Would you use the plastic wrap for your luggage?
There has to be the smallest seed of belief planted that she is innocent, even for them.

Only one person knows for sure and either she's a f**king tremendous liar an innocent young Aussie who like it or not will be remembered forever by our generation.

I have been to Bali and when I got home I made the comment of "I hope the joint sinks".
Quite prophetic when you think about.

That was a few years back now and I had since softened my stance and agreed to go back next year with a group of friends, this was before all this Corby stuff though.
We are all seriously considering going somewhere else now.

Ever been blamed for something you didn't do?
Ever come home to find you've been robbed?
Ever told a lie that got too big to fix?

Someone always know's the answer.

And what if there's items inside the bag with your name on it?

Claim the bag as lost, describe it vaguely. If found ask them to open it, as it looks like your bag but your not entirely sure. If they open it and there are drugs its not your bag - tag or not. The luggage you book through shouldn't have anything in it outside of clothes. Any personal items that may carry your name should be in your carry on luggage. Less chance of these items being stolen as well.

Personally, I think naivety has gotten Corby into trouble. Whether or not the drugs were hers or not I don't care, but there are precautions you can take to make yourself safe when travelling into any country. If the drugs were planted she didn't take the right precautions. If you travel overseas and don't at least take some precautionary steps your opening yourself up to trouble.
