i really thought at Kogarah on Monday nite the Dragons were gonna pull a big swifty as a treat to loyal fans turning up on Monday nite footy and intro Josh to the home fans as our newest signing !!

instead just the usual dross where they did Dragons tv live and give us the usual gibberfest of time filling we always get

then i read in the Tele on Tuesday how "DR" Schubert - the slasry cap auditor is holding things up and requesting medical records etc

who the heck does the Shoe think he is ? - surely he is outside his duties asking for personal shit like that, especially when it has no bearing on the cap, and why should it concern him evn if his physical wellbeing is anything to do with whether he gets his contract registered by the NRL, wouldnt that be someone elses job ?

just let him sign !!!! - Enter The Dugan !

Thank you LD.

See y'all... I told you it was going to happen tomorrow.

Dugan signs with Dragons for 2013

Josh Dugan's NRL career will be officially relaunched on Friday when he starts a short-term deal with St George Illawarra.
The ex-Raiders fullback will play put the rest of the season with the Dragons and hopes to land a long-term contract with the club he followed as a boy.
Dugan's contract will contain several behavioural clauses, many relating to the use of social media.
Dugan's career at Canberra ended in disgrace following a verbal streetwise brawl with coach David Furner.
The Dragons threw him a lifeline after heavy consultation - and approval - from the NRL.

Josh Dugan cleared by NRL to join Dragons

JOSH Dugan should be at St George Illawarra by next week after the NRL said yesterday it was satisfied with the changes he has made to his life off the field.

The NRL flagged a social media ban on prolific tweeter Dugan before he returns to the playing field -- most likely against Parramatta at WIN Stadium.
Dugan has been in limbo since March when Canberra ripped up his contract after a succession of breaches of team rules and protocols -- most involving alcohol.
NRL chief executive David Smith said Dugan had proven to officials that he was ready to return to football.
"The welfare stuff has gone very well. We're pleased with the progress," Smith said yesterday.
After sacking Dugan, the Raiders sent a report to the NRL listing the details of his indiscretions, the most infamous being his social media stuff-up when he posted a picture of himself and teammate Blake Ferguson sitting on a rooftop drinking alcohol when he should have been at a rehabilitation session.

Dugan's arrival at the Dragons will not be in time for Sunday's match against the Gold Coast but he should be able to run out against the Eels.

Tell ya what, they were very hush hush about it.

Agreed. We should go after Gareth Widdop and Joel Thompson as well.

No thanks, sorry Willow but that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever read, why would two quality first graders want to come to the Dragons?! Young doesn't deal with player managers and Doust is a complete fool.

Also i have it on good authority that Soward will be re-signed within the next few days. Watch this space. :)
