Yes mate , it is just that . You know I was silly enough to believe that he would be our version of the Roosters Nick Politis ? I actually thought that he had the best of intentions for the Joint Venture and the Dragon team in mind when he paid for his percentage of the club . Geeze how bluudy wrong was I , plenty on this forum warned us what would happen, but I didn’t believe that would be the case - wrong again.

I just would like to see some light at the end of this tunnel, as it is becoming longer and darker as each season goes by .
Yes very disappointing to say the least, for a so called professional football club with such a grand history these turds incharge right now leave a lot to be desired. You media cohorts know better than the shit you're trotting out. Don't you

But you are presuming money is his only motivation, hell he has plenty already, perhaps he is addicted to football and needs to be closer to the action and sees the Dragons as a real opportunity to boost his status. He has been commenting a lot in the past month about us, perhaps he thinks he can solve our problems. I believe if in the unlikely event he did come on board this forum would get very excited.

I have also heard him talk about how he used to enjoy sitting on the hill at jubilee and watching the footy.
Anybody know if he grew up in the area, or if he was once a fan?
:thinking::fingers_crossed:
Then again, maybe he was just cheering for the opposition.
:rage:
He has a good footy mind and is generally well respected.
He would be good for us.

No mate, I'm not assuming money is his only driver. My point is he is already earning big money, has achieved a great deal , has a massive profile in the game and the final addition to his CV would be to become head of the NRL.

I watched him again, on 100% footy last night. The way he talked about NRL hq from the Commissioners to the refs, the rules etc... suggests to me that's where he will end up. Basically called them inept, and clueless, protected and so on.

Why does anyone think Gould would get rid of McGregor? Has he ever given that indication? Sure, he was bagging Ben Hunt last week but what did he say about McGregor? (Serious question, I've got Fox so I happily avoid the Nine commentary).

Just because you would get rid of Mary, doesn't mean Gould would get rid of him.

I would have thought he's made too many enemies over the years to head up the NRL - the QLD'ers dont like him much at all. But I see your point, he could have the big job in mind.

I’m not sure if this is hilarious or the worst joke I’ve ever seen.

Maybe there's a bloke out there who Mary spear tackled in their playing days who we could put in charge.

Yea Walpole there certainly is - his name is Anthony Mundine and look at what happened to him , I suggest we pursue another line of thought in tackling this problem that appears to have no solution .

Gould was a Saints fan as a kid.

Yes - I agree with this.
Even at an advisory level.
Its clear our self appointed Management doesn't - and CAN'T work.
We (as a whole) are victims of our own abilities.

So since getting Gould, they have signed Ciraldo as coach, Burton, Pangai Jr, Mahoney, Kikau, Crichton & Xerri from 2024.

Seemed to be able to bump people like Corey Payne and Barrett who he was seemingly close to in the past. Frustrating that he could only conduct a surface level review of the club...

Mary brought Gould in to support him in his hour of need.
