Hayne's positioning has been terrible, when you take that into account, Slater is the safer bet as you know he'll be in the right spot to save a few tries and he certainly knows how to score them.

The myth went MIA again, he should be forced to hand his Dally M medal over to Jamie Soward.

Anyone who thinks Hayne is better than Slater has rocks in their head.

The reason why Hayne has saved more tries all year then any other fullback is cause he is out of position so often and has to make those tackles. The good stat would be how many times each fullback has been found out of position, I think Hayne will be number 1 in that by far, great attacking player but still has a lot to learn before he can be compared to slater

And parra didn't lose, they got decimated

This perception on Jarryd doing it in spirts in incorrect.
Stop trying to create a myth.
Parra will be playing all top 8 teams on the run into the semis as they did last season so your cellar dwellar theory is bullsh*t

Defensively and positionally Hayne is huuuugely underrated thanks to a perceived notion that he must be bad in that area because he's so good in attack.]

You'd change you're mind if you watched tonights game. He was woefully out of position on many occasions.

I don't think many of bandwagoners will be back..
Looks like the "Hayne WANK Train" shot it's load,& drifted off to sleep ..
Wake them up again next July..

I would say nearly every other fullback in the comp would have been in position to stop those first 2 tries, thanks to hayne the roosters got of to a flyer

Hayne's positioning and absolutely crap defense gifted the Roosters their first 3 tries and a few more you fool. ](*,)
That's exactly the reason why he isn't, nor will he ever be on the same league of the really great full backs of the game, like Slater! [-X

Did Parra lose because of Hayne? or because the Rooster outplayed us ?

Seriously he carries our whole side in attack but can only do it if our forwards win upfront.

The Roosters did play bloody good tonight but Hayne was the main reason behind them scoring so many tries so early, which put them on a roll.

I've been saying it for ages now, since he was 1st put into fullback. Hayne is great in attack but woeful defensively, he has always been like that at fullback.

His positioning is pathetic and he has always had that lack of urgency. For some reason idiots were beating their chests about his try saver on Stagg last week as if Hayne was now a great defender. One swallow doesn't make a summer.

Without a doubt he can be great in attack but he is the worst fullback in the comp for positioning, which means bad defense. It has always been like that but tonight highlighted it massively, and Fox even showed how bad he was positionally.

Ron Jeremy was saying Hayne is better than Brett Kenny, well stick Kenny at fullback next week, even though he never played the position, at his age he'd still be better positionally than Hayne.:D

I like Hayne and love watching what he can do in attack but he is a liability when we haven't got the ball.

I created a thread many months ago and stated that he will eventually be our 6. I still believe that.
