Parra will put in a very competitive offer for JT. It would seem to good to be true if we signed him. I would pay just to go and watch the JT and Hayne combination.

It can't be all about the coin for JT. Surely the chance to play with Hayne & Co at a great club would be an attractive prospect ?

On that basis, I can't see why it'd be impossible to secure JT's signature. Not easy ... but surely not impossible. It's all just resource management.

I'd say a big part of it is the coin otherwise he wouldn't be interested in playing Rugby. He has won a premiership with the Dogs, but no doubt he would like a new challenge and what better challenge then steering a team who hasn't won a premiership in over 25 years to the title and doing it as the conductor of the team.

A few reports have also suggested he doesn't like the lifestyle up in North Qld.

Anyone commenting that JT has not won a premiership with the Cowgirls can't use that as an argument. The cowgirls have a useless team where we just need some direction to the team and our individual talent will flair.

he's not worth loosing those 3 players imo

we are already struggling with depth in the forwards, loosing 3 backs would make us a pretty ordinary team especially if JT was a long term injury

we'd never even make the 8 imo

he plays well for Australia and Qld but his club form can be hot and cold

you only have to look at stats to see how good thurston is at club level. No other halfback in the game does as much work as he does in a game but he is carrying a whole team as the Cowboys defence just isn't good enough since 2005.
