According to that link, no-one was ejected for that mass pitch invasion at Penrith on Saturday night. I wonder why?
OK. I'll stay at home and jump up and down on the lounge. ffs.All you nonces complaining about the "atmosphere" at the A-League Grand Final are either delusional, jealous or just plain dumb.
You say you dont attend the matches for their atmosphere, but to watch the game.
Since when does "atmosphere" mean "destruction"? When will you geniuss get the f*cking point that destroying property is not atmosphere?If that is truly the case. Stay home and watch it on TV. You will get commentary, half time reports, images from the sheds, injury reports, replays, referee audio, stats and you wont have to worry about the guy next to you yelling out support for his team.
Fact is, you attend the game because of the atmosphere.
The viewing of the event is far superior on the TV. Dont try to convince yourselves that you dont attend games for their atmosphere. The atmosphere and the bragging of "seeing it live" are the only 2 reasons to go to the game.
Give it up.

Police have congratulated the tens of thousands of fans at tonight’s NRL Grand Final on their exemplary behaviour.
Operation Peard at ANZ Stadium involved significant police resources, including officers from general duties, the Operational Support Group, Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, Mounted Police Unit, Dog Unit, Police Transport Command and Region Enforcement Squad.
As a result of the operation,
• 43 people were ejected from the stadium by police and event security for intoxication and anti-social behaviour;
• One person was charged with assault police;
• One person was issued a ticket for supply liquor to intoxicated patron;
• Four people were fined for offensive conduct inside and surrounding the venue.
“Considering the magnitude of the crowd – some 83,000 people – we’re extremely happy with this result,” said Operation Peard Commander, Detective Superintendent Peter Lennon.
“It was great to see genuine fans there to watch the game they love, and for families to enjoy rugby league’s pinnacle event in a safe environment.”
Superintendent Lennon attributed this positive result to football fans heeding police messages in the lead-up to the event about drinking responsibly and behaving appropriately.
“A high-visibility policing operation at the stadium and on trains to and from Olympic Park no doubt contributed to the good result,” Det Supt Lennon added.

Typical Samantha puttiing down RL while stcking up for his Sokka :roll: You're a gutless fraud.21 out of 42,000 is pretty much the same percentage as 43 out of 83,000.
Why then is one code's crowd conduct praised while the other's is vilified?
How much damage was done?I wonder how many of the Islander contingent at the Sam v Ton were arrested for entering the playing field the other night. Oh thats right none, cos they were showing passion...

How many seats were destroyed at the NRL Grand Final? Why are you trying to put down RL?

Quick its almost half time. Lets jump.It's not that much of a thing. It's just that it seems to have received a large proportion of the discussion here. The Cove might jump for about 5 minutes out of 90, if that. It usually is brought out once, maybe twice per match.
