The council has just upgraded seymour shaw soccer ground with a new grand stand.
Is that the federation or the association?

Sutherland shire soccer is weird that it has 2 factions. One plays out of there and the other out of bates drive fields

I can see the benefit we get into, win division, win A-League.
FIFA are expanding the world club challenge, a lot bigger, the Sharks on the world stage.
For other teams it would be a dream come true let's say we play Real Madrid, they would have only dreamt of playing the most well known sporting identity in the world the Sharks.
For us we just continue our global footprint, it would allows kids in Australia to actually know who someone like Real Madrid is.

I think you’ll find there are more kids in Australia who know Real Madrid than the Sharks.
It may shock plenty, but plenty of youngsters doesn’t give 2 figs about rugby league.
The game raves about any small win, the game of football doesn’t need to - it just is.

Well according to this article, there are 4 times as many kids playing soccer in Australia than rugby league.
I'd wager there are more rugby-league playing kids who know Cristiano Ronaldo than soccer-playing kids who know Ronaldo Mulitalo.
This has always been the case though Don, main reason is just about any soft c*ck can run around and kick a ball. Fitness levels can be moderate to useless at park level. Safer than playing league for over protective Mums etc
