Not interested mate. Now justify your comment about WA and Victoria. This will be fun.
Well seeing how my youngest son just played against VIC, their standard was pretty low and we pumped them by 46 points.
This was a Central Coast representative side against a whole State lol.
WA has many adult rugby league competitions which I doubt AFL mad Victoria has.

and I'd make a pretty safe bet the central coast alone gets many times more funding than the whole state of Victoria for RL

you'd see the same result in pretty much any sport with representatives teams from outside a heartland vs in

which competition was this exactly? I can't find any info on it

and must be pretty shameful for these big nsw clubs in the jersey flegg

and of the day you really need to stop lashing out because your still sore after all these years the NRL wisely deemed your club not financially worth it to keep in a professional league, while a team from a city of 5 million where the big bucks are is - grassroots is a poor excuse for poor clubs, and has nothing to do with top flight professional clubs

I wouldn’t read too much into the Jersey Flegg competition, most of the Roosters and Knights Flegg aged players play in their NSW Cup, most of Manlys and the Dragons quality Flegg aged players play in their NRL squad.

Looks better than your display lol
comparing the actual number of clubs competing in a regular competition to a poor photoshop of some logos chucked randomly on a map with no indication of how often these teams play and if they are even still operation in 2023?

yeah, good one

If you are genuinely interested in seeing how the game is growing in the affiliate states check out these 2 threads by Pneuma for updates

Historically WA has been the bigger state for RL over Victoria but recently on the back of pretty good growth I believe Vic has taken the edge for number of teams and registered players, especially if looking at Perth v Melbourne where regulars competitions are played

All natural ground up growth as as mentioned earlier, funding for the affiliate state is ridiculously low and continues to be cut

so how about instead of talking shit because your still sooky your team got cut you actually inform yourself on some facts and stop talking shit on states trying to grow our game with little to know help from the administration that's supposed to be in charge of this

Just like your little google search, doesn’t state the standard, VIC league = Central Coast 3rd grade, jog on buddy.
I’ve heard that the standard of league in WA is reasonably high, heard of Wayne Wigham ?, ex Balmain Tigers player, he lives over there and he says it is improving in leaps and bounds and that it is a pretty tough competition over there which I could imagine in those outback towns.

again, if a representative team from one of the strongest RL heartlands in the world lost to a Victorian rag tag team you would really be thinking wtf happened there

not sure why it turned into a WA vs Vic anyway, both states are in the same situation where if the game actually wants to grow outside of NSW & Qld it needs to be proactive and actually support growth in these states, instead of letting them fend for themselves with peanuts for funding and just sit back and "hope" something happens

Perth unlike the bears should of never been cut from the competition, its always had a somewhat strong RL scene compared to the other "AFL" states, but RL being RL has continually dropped the ball over there because its not Sydney

I've linked you to some threads where you can do some reading for yourself
Instead of "i heard once someone said this" why don't you gather some actual facts before talking shit

its people like you that are the reason the game struggles to grow outside the heartland "they aren't good enough now so why bother trying to improve the quality"

Its good seeing Victorian teams growing, and getting pummeled by better teams over and over will eventually lead to growth and improvement - although from what little scores i can find on the nswrl website on the country champs (half the draw and results seems to just not of been uploaded), pummelings werent limited to just the vicco side anyway

The Reds were cut because of News Ltd’s new pet project the Melbourne Storm, pure and simple, the cost of flying opposition teams over was killing the Reds, News Ltd thought that the Storm being based in the sporting mad market of Melbourne would make them $$$ from day dot. This didn’t happen, News Ltd had to prop up the Storm year after year after year and News Ltd couldn’t sell them off quick enough.
In google we trust lol

Both states are doing ok with ltd resources. Vic has certainly been catching us up for last few years after a decade of dominance of WA in interstate comp.

WA men’s
premier grade 6 teams
reserve grade 8 teams
third grade 9 teams
23 teams

Vic mens
premiere grade 6 teams
reserve grade 6 teams
third grade 10 teams
22 teams

Here’s a better picture for you Mr Google and look at the size of that area covered
It’s a while since I did that lol. Bit out of date now. Will have to do new one. Rl has traditionally been nearly as strong in regional wa as in perth. Strange really given 90% of population live in perth, but probably due to the east coasters moving over to work regionally in mining.
Last count we had 26 clubs cross the state and around 200 teams at all ages men and women’s. 4,100 full contact registered players And around 30k touch football registered players.
