Great show of character and determination by Penrith.
How disgusting were the Parra gronks booing Gower while he was coughing up blood.
Great effort by Penrith, woeful effort by Parra.
I think you'll find we fans (at least myself and those around me) had no idea he was coughing up blood. It seemed like an innocuous sort of hit, not really late at all and certainly not with any savage intent, so the home fans (as any set of opposition fans does at a game) gave it to him, told him to "get up ya mug" etc.
Like I say, myself and those around me had no idea it was a serious injury, and expected him to come on five minutes after the penalty. When we saw him being wheeled off to the hospital with an oxygen mask on, it was certainly a shock.
I wish Gower all the best with his recovery, and personally extend my deepest apologies for calling him a "sook" at the time of the incident

- like I say, the initial contact didn't look all that damaging. Even without Gower, Penrith were too good for us, which is a bit upsetting - says a lot about the character of both sides at the moment.
