Milne has a 50+ average in ODI, Boult isn't that far off either (admittedly hasn't played much ODI), Mills has a great record, but his last 18 months he averages mid 40's.

I think we'll regret leaving Henry out. An extra 3 months before the squads are picked and he probably forces himself into the team, but I think we missed an opportunity to take a leap of faith on him.

I'm a Milne fan for sure, he's got that extra bit of raw pace over Henry.
But it seriously needs to start translating into wickets or he'll end up another Mohammad Sami

Sami was a short pie thrower. Good for reverse swing and little else. Milno I think has improved a lot from last year. One more year to learn more about the lengths required and he will be a test option.

I like Milne too, but as you say, wickets need to come. Good over, almost had three wickets.

I gotta say all the recent hype behind the Black Caps is looking a bit unjustified.

Their test team has been absolutely outstanding no doubt, but this ODI side really gives me the jitters.

The Test team is the hype.

Sri Lanka probably 20 runs short of where they wanted to/could have ended up- but still a formidable total. 1 or 2 batsmen are going to have to fire.

Milne the pick of the bowlers, but he's injured. Could be Henry's boarding pass.

Looks a prospect does Milne.

145k bowlers are rare.

He is but we need to be patient with him Henry might have been the better option for WC.

In the UAE he was consistently over 150 would love to see him on some quicker decks

I used to vouch for persisting with Guptill as once he finds form he really scores big, but his lean patches are very very lean. Lack of better options keeps him in I guess

Yeah they could have included Brownlie who's in good form
