St George is dead, RIP

These St George morons are hilarious. It's especially funny when you compare the merits of the Roosters and the Illawarra socks. Out of desperation, tit willow quotes some names who are "St George juniors" and they are juniors from other clubs! Priceless, genious. Apart from making a fool of yourself, what do you do for an encore?
And then we have the antichrist who turns out to be a Balmain supporter telling us about the merits of merging!!!! pmsl  Gees the Wests tigers have set the rugby league world on fire haven't they? My advice to both of you losers is join a club that are winners, you couldn't do better than the most succesfull club in the new millenium, the Mighty Roosters!
Next thing tit willow will be telling us is that Harry Bath will be coaching Integral in 2004 and that they will be known as Bath's bitches!

Blah, same old same old.

Emoticon overloading will cause you blisters on the palms of your hand, next to the other ones from ... well, you know.

You went in the direction you're going to continue going in. Down.

We will be heading the other way.

We'll wave on the way past to most Easts supporters but we'll save the colostomy bag contents from our nursing homes for you.

No need to post it twice either, it only takes one read to realise your stupidity.

Wake and try to do your best keep up with the facts... and for goodness sake, if you want to try and refute the evidence, please try and spell the guys name right.

I was talking from memory... buts heres's some research...
Mark Riddell: St George junior (St Christopher’s, Panania).
First Grade Debut: Saints v Sharks, Toyota Park, February 18, 2001
Dean Byrne: Born at St George hospital in 1981 and a St George junior (Peakhurst Hawks).
Dean Young... the son of Craig Young.

Ahhhh Willow it is you that needs to know what is happening.

A chook feeding off the droppings of a cat... how sad.

My advice is that you try and do some research... otherwise you'll be burnt alive in here.

How those facts on the Roosters juniors coming?

Its funny but that if there was a residential rule in place at almost anytime the best sides would be Wests, Souths, Illawarra, Brisbane, Newcastle, Penrith and Parra. But juniors dont tay where they started anymore, which is a pity because if they did Illawarra woulda been one of the best sides.

And your point was ...? A re-introduction of the residential rule?
Roosters would be the first to fall and Norths be playing the dodgems at Luna Park.
...and Souths? Maybe with a stretch of the imagination.

Yes it is interesting... except if you knew much about the residential rule you'd also know that it was rorted regularly. Ended up being totally unworkable.

(edit: actually Melbourne would be te first to fall, Roosters 2nd - we might end up with decades of Warriors v Brisbane Grand Finals. lol)

Listen here f**kface, Mark RIDDELL (my apologies for spelling it wrong) played lower grades for the Roosters and went to and played for a Balmain school and club side.

Dean Byrne played lower grades with the Bulldogs.

Wow Dean Young is the son of an ex Dragons player, Matt Giteau's Dad played for Western Suburbs but do i say he a Wests junior?? No cause i have a f**kING BRAIN!!

Wake to yourself you moron!!

Tiger_nick... relax... take a deep breath and consider your thoughts.
Your research is the result of what you have observed in recent times... thats fine.
But my conclusions are a result of the players statistics as have been told to people who care to ask.

Just because you saw a player in a Roosters or Canterbury jersey doesnt mean that they are juniors to that area... mate ... it happens all the time... players shift around.

Like I said, I spoke from memory... but I also consulted the people that matter.

You are definitely wrong about Byrne and Riddell. I'm not sure about Dean Young but being Craig Young's son makes it hard to imagine that he didnt have some sort of St George influence during his footballing upbringing.

You're probably unaware that officials sometimes find spots for promising players in other junior areas... this is particularly apparent in the St George, Sutherland and Illawarra districts. Not all development officers share your view of juniors being tied to one district... believe it or not, they actually care for the young player and look for out their best interests. Sometimes these players come back to their junior base... other times they do not.

Sure, there's some competiveness to keep juniors 'in-house' but reality dictates that this isnt always possible.
This is carried through even to first grade when some players are helped in finding new clubs to play for.

With Dean Byrne, he is certain he is a St George junior and his family thinks he is as well (trust me on that one).

I only say all this in an attempt to take all that angst out of your sails. Hope it worked.

Ricketson
Cross
Wing
Byrne. That's 4 Easts juniors in our top 1st grade team. How many St George juniors in your top side at full strength?

From southsjuniors.org.au

The rebirth of the Junior Sides in the 90's have produced some exciting players just now hitting the Graded ranks and we anticipate many more coming through the future. Present ex players include Ryan Cross (Sydney Roosters), Adam Frier (Rugby), and two of the best junior prospects in years, long term Wombats Craig Wing (Sydney Roosters) and Luke Branighan (Sharks). Recent players I believe will hit the scene next year or so is Chris Enahoro and Reni Maitua (Bulldogs).

Ohh but Ryan Cross's Dad played for Balmain so that makes him a Balmain junior according to Willow.

I thought you were the one who said that the only St George junior was Lance Thompson. Are you going to retract that statement now?
