Not sure what your trying to argue but what I'm saying is during this flashback scene Kylo is a fully grown man where Rey is not so therefore twins it will not appear to be. Twins would be a little lazy anyway borrowing straight from the expanded universe.

The Maz character who's narrating the last TV spot will be interesting to see how she develops with the heroes and how shit fits with Luke and the old/new Jedi order.

Wouldn't being in your early 20s constitute being a "full grown man"? They can both be the same age and your theory can still hold water. Hell, Anakin was only 22 or 23 when he went to the Dark Side. In any case, they'll be brother and sister. Twins or otherwise.

Maz I suspect is Force sensitive too.

Surely not:

But the most interesting thing VF got from the director is his choice for his favorite Star Wars character: Jar Jar Binks. In bringing up the most widely disliked character in the galaxy far, far away, Lucas was likely defending his past creations. But the choice also touches on why Lucas seems to have stepped away from helming Star Wars movies: freedom from one’s creations.

It wouldn't surprise me if there was more planned for Jar Jar than ended up transpiring.

Episode 7 is it based on any Star Wars books? If so which ones??

As far has been said publicly (iirc) , it is not based on any of the books. In fact the production team have said they don't feel bound by anything in any of the books in the "expanded" universe.

What Cap'n said but I still think they'll borrow from the Expanded Universe to a degree.

The old EU has been "relegated" to Star Wars "Legends" status.

I have read "Aftermath" which is the first official book of the canon since Disney took over and that is then followed up by comic series called Shattered Empire

There's a new TV spot that just came out with Nien Nunb flying an X-Wing and I had a total fan boy moment!

There's also a shot of a female Resistance pilot and its only a small thing but I'm really digging the new colour schemes and designs of the pilot helmets!

This movie has absolutely no chance of living up to my expectations.
But if it manages to to get the feel of the original movies right, and manages to be a fun adventure with memorable new characters (something the prequels failed at) then I'll be happy

I'm going in expecting a solid film, and I'll be happy with that as it mean things are back on track.

Anything more than that and I'll be stoked.

I have high expectations. Seems most series nail the origins/discovery portion of the story; it's the movies after that which can let it down.

19 days to go, or if you're like me and am going to wait until the following cheap tuesday to avoid the crowds, 24 days.

There will still be a crowd. School holidays remember.

I haven't bought any tickets so I have no idea when I'm going to see this. I want to go opening day, just because I can't wait, but there will be so many people.

I remember going to opening night for Revenge of the Sith, when the opening dialogue started " long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...." the crowd in the cinema went nuts, everyone was fist pumping, clapping, it literally was the climax of the film...

I'm sure the start of Force Awakens will be exactly the same. Major major excitement at the very start... excitement will be off the roof.

I just hope people just hold their excitement past the opening crawl and shut the f**k up.
